Very good. I am looking forward to seeing your results over time. I actually have a quart of sauerkraut brine on the counter right now - you've made me want to add it to my big compost pile. Thus far I've layered in cut grass, dry leaves, seaweed, biochar, goat manure, cow manure, kitchen scraps and more, in layer after layer. Soaked it with urine and water twice and it's really cooking.

Have you ever tried Fermented Plant Juice using green organic matter and brown sugar to ferment into a liquid ? It seems highly effective. I love EM too (Bokashi)! Great seeing this video. I appreciate the upload. Hope you have a fantastic day

No but I have blended fresh kitchen waste and added molasses. Grows plants like crazy when you feed them with it. So the same thing really. It works as you are feeding the soil life directly with a type of baby food that they can take up fast. They then in turn get munched up by plants. Not literally :)

Have you heard about grafting tomato on eggplant they might cope better with wetter conditions and produce 20% more fruit!

This used to be the best ogranic gardening channel (except for the deviation into blacksmithing which I never understood the point of it).

Only one way to find out! I bet it would kill all kinds of weed seeds and pathogens because the acidity essentially sterilizes them and changes the structure of the materials. Lacto-fermentation has been proven to even kill e-coli and parasitic worms in human and pet waste too. So for people with a cat litter box or dogs, this is a good way to safely deal with their waste before burying it under the soil.

Everyone seems to reference Elaine Ingham and I believe she always says NO anaerobic conditions for soils, compost, etc. She states anaerobic conditions promote the "bad guy" microbes, pathogens. And then I see all these anaerobic mixes being used. Can some one please point me to and area of study to help me sort all this out. I'm all about promoting healthy soil biology for health food and health body. Thanks.

Actually you misunderstand what she is saying or how nature operates. Not all anaerobes or facultative organisms are bad for plants. The opposite is true. It is just a precautionary measure when making compost tea for instance. One would also encourage proper aeration in the top horizons of the soil, but nature does deal with the breakdown of organic matter in anaerobic conditions all the time. This has no lasting effect.
Because some of the anaerobes are harmful to plants, in certain circumstances it is better to go the aerobic way to simply discourage these pathogens. But is does not mean the ones we us in EM or other situations are bad.

@@workwithnature Thank You for your reply. I will look into the EMs again. I'm thinking our gut bacterial flora is not all that different from the soil microbes. (probably different species but all working in the same manor). I've heard eating raw plant material replenishes our gut flora. And I know fermented foods are also health for our guts. So that all makes since. I was turning my fairly new compost pile and had clumps of matted green grass clippings at the bottom. They had a strong pungent smell of sauerkraut. I broke up the clumps and remixed the pile adding brown leaves to balance out. I'm still a little confused but will continue researching. I do believe in working with Mother Nature. Thanks

No sorry Epicure not really, but it is more simple than you think. Any specific questions you may have?

Jesus is God who came in the flesh to be sacrificed for the forgiveness of sin for any person who believes and calls on His name. Beware that Satan will soon appear on earth claiming to be Jesus. A few days before Jesus was crucified, He was eating at the home of Simon, a leper who Jesus had healed, when a woman came along with a box full of precious ointment and anointed Jesus with its contents. The disciples were mad, saying that the woman could have sold the ointment and given the proceeds to the poor. Jesus explained to everyone that she had anointed him for his burial, and commanded that what he had done be told for a memorial of her where ever the gospel is preached.
