Achieve this by explaining not only have you recognized that weakness, but your plans moving forward to turn this weakness into a strength. For example: I am a work horse. Give me my tasks and deadlines (or I create my own), and I will have them done a week early. I found this to be a weakness in myself, because I was giving myself too heavy of a workload to incorporate the other aspects of my personal, professional, and educational life, so overtime I would become mentally fatigued and burnt out. I've started to take those tasks and deadlines to create an action plan to outline when I would accomplish what, ensuring that the task would be completed on time but also was not taxing on me. Perfect way to begin discussing your leadership and management skills (personal and team).

@@charlottepenberthy5260 what a good physical test score for a male? I did a practice run today and got 51 push-ups, 60 sit ups and 6:22 mile, I know I can improve these a little but what’s a good range for a male for the best chance of getting the scholarship?
@@jacksonreese17 Definitely be very prepared!!! I wasn’t as prepared as I could’ve been…. I stuttered on some parts and I didn’t recite my answers enough. Make sure you have done lots of research on the officer job/military future you want to let them know that you are really interested. They also asked me things like the definition of integrity and what it means to me, examples of troubles I have overcome, examples of leadership, examples of learning from failure, what my workout routine/habits are etc…. I would definitely recommend practicing w a family member or friend even if it’s awkward. I don’t have the results back yet but I did pass the pft as well. My grades weren’t that great and I wasn’t in any clubs or sports in high school which is something that’s important to them. I’m definitely not confident that I will get the scholarship but I think there’s a chance. Good luck to you!

I have an Air Force and space force interview for the HSSP Saturday. I’ve written out a lot of my answers to these basic questions. Any tips trying to memorize them and incorporate leadership into every aspect of it?
Good luck! Leadership is important but don’t try to sell yourself too strong the interviewers can look through that. Be authentic! You don’t have to memorize them but I’d recommend having someone do a mock interview with you so you can practice responding.

Are only certain majors of study accepted into ROTC? I've heard NROTC prefer engineering majors. What about Army ROTC? If you apply for AROTC, does choice of your college major matter to be selected as ROTC cadet?

From what I have researched if you do not have the act/sat minimum scores you will not be eligible for a scholarship.
