The Difference Your DI Box Can Make

Pretty much everyone has a DI box at this point (it's essential for recording guitar and bass), but how much difference does your DI box make to your overall tone?

Hey man I've got my HP laptop volume at 65% and youtube volume at about 20% and it sounds like you're yelling.

Good comparison and analysis. Just a sidenote: The gate on the speech is little jarring to the ears, I'd suggest make it a little smoother (not as attacky) or remove it completely. Small hum on the background is fine.

Great video! Just one question: I'm recording electric guitar DI into my Steinberg interface, is it still a good idea to use a DI box if I'm not recording a physical live amp? Cheers

How you add distorsión to the bass? It is a pedal before de Radial or is a post production plug in ? Thanks
