Car Seat Headrest is a band that consists of Will Toledo, Andrew Katz, Ethan Ives and Seth Dalby. These guys made amazing albums like Teens of Denial, Twin Fantasy (Face to Face) and Making a Door Less Open. But before those three guys joined the band, it was just Will Toledo making music by himself, he released great albums such as How to Leave Town, Monomania and Twin Fantasy (Mirror to Mirror)

Nice! You really have good taste. But I prefer Beach Life-In-Death in the mirror to mirror version, some details make it special like the intensity of the vocals and the ending with the word "shit" repeating in a distorted way.

Just recently stumbled on Beast Monster Thing, and it's such a good song! Also, I generally (actually, no, I full on) prefer the FTF version of TF than the MTM one, mostly on the growth and retrospectiveness of it on top of the added production value.
I can see why someone would enjoy ftf more because of those reasons

OK IM REALLY LATE TO THIS VIDEO BUT DREAM ENCOUNTER ON SMOKE MOUNTAIN AT #5 IS SO BASED
I'm not sure if I want to go with my "personal" top 10 or what I'd consider to be CSH's 10 "best" songs, but I'd probably have to choose The Gun Song as the top of either list. Brilliant poetic and sardonic lyricism across the entire 16 minutes of its runtime, creative and varied instrumental sections that nevertheless always feel coherent as one song, and an absolutely phenomenal guitar solo near the end (seriously, it's on the level of Gilmour's best material IMO), all wrapped up with that cathartic, grungy cover of Neil Young's "Down By the River." The fact that Will wrote and recorded that song entirely solo at age 21 is just astounding to me.
So I guess my picks for their 10 best would be:

3) Hey, Space Cadet

And, of course, Portrait of the Artist. What I wouldn't give for Will to record a studio version of that song lol

@@KyleReidMu Kid War is my first CSH song ever, a French youtuber named Feldup made a video on twin fantasy and he talked briefly about the numbered albums. He used the opening of Kid War in the video and I instantly fell in love with it. For a long time it was the only song with the ones on Twin Fantasy (MTM) that I was listening to for a while.

Saying the Face to Face version of Nervous Young Inhumans is better might be one of the most bat shit takes I've heard. I think the performance of the FTF version is better, but the changing of the chorus completely ruins the song for me. The monologue at the end of MTM is also quite a bit better.
