Long ago I noticed the two song share the same progression. I was not the only one, but all the other mashups use the show's music with Radiohead's Lirycs or sing the lyrics themselves. I wanted to try the hard road and extract the voices from the extended intro, the pilot episode and the regular intro of Steven Universe to put it on top of Creep's backing track. The result was awful! You're Welcome!
Oh, and I also thrown the poor Bowie into the mix because the things weren't weirder enough. (Not really, it was because the similar melody) - Комедії
My daughter was watching this show and my husband commented that it sounded like Radio Head. Thanks for making this and proving his point in under five minutes.

I told my ex and her friends that the theme sounded like Creep (I had never watched the show back then) and they didn't believe me, lol.

Exactly, the only problem is that Creep keeps the same chord twice each time, so the speeds never match well

Little tip: you could've sped up Radiohead a bit and have the song at a pace more fitting for the vocals. In this, the vocals sound stretched to oblivion. I can understand that the vibes of both songs are different, but you can take some liberties. Also, if you want to give it a second try, I'll link you an acapella of the original theme (TV version, not the extended one unfortunately), so you can use it.
+GumballFallsFan When Garnet starts singing at 1:23 the speed is almost doubled and one can barely recognize it as "Creep", however this part (1:52, still double speed) sound even worst than the first part with Steven singing alone. That's because I couldn't find an acapella version of the tv theme. I don't know if I will make it again, thank you so much for your help! If you want to try to listen to it faster you can change the reproduction time to 1.25 or 1.5 :D
Maybe if I make a faster version I could put the song link to Soundcloud or something instead making a new video.
+Yungblut unfortunately I can't speed it up. I'm on a phone so I can't access the speed-up/slow-down function like on desktop. Maybe if I tried doing it, it might work? I don't know.
It would 100% work if you sped the song up. I've done a bunch of mashups and I pretty much always had to adapt the tempo of one song or the other.

so i didnt watch steven universe, and a game called brawlhalla had a crossover with it and then i heard the sountrack i was like this sounds awfully familar to creep.
My nephew has been binging this show recently. I keep hearing the theme and hearing Creep somewhere in it.

I did. In an unaired pilot of the show, one of the characters look inspired by Bowie so I made this Bowie taking that as a reference.
It's basically just Beta Pearl with the lightning added on and a different outfit. Pretty cool!
