You were on the base GT model. The GT Pro adds electronic adjustable suspension in the rear, quick shifter, fog lights, heated seats (front and rear), heated grips, and a center stand. The Rally Pro is off-road oriented and changes the front from a 19 to a 21 inch wheel, adds a sump guard and fully adjustable manual suspension front and rear.
Finally got my first on road motorcycle over the weekend, your first rides were one of the reasons that really pushed me into wanting a bike more than I already wanted one and also helped me figure out what I wanted to look for. THANKS for the amazing content.
I would go for the GT Pro, since it has all the road bells and whistles, unless I was planning on doing a lot of off-roading. Rally Pro if you only drive on the street is like buying a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with 37 inch tires and a 4" lift, with full winch package and light bars and trimmings when you're just gonna drive to the mall, lol.
I went for the Rally Pro for the reasons you mentioned. Plus lots of reports said it handled as well as the GT if not better, despite the 21 inch front wheel. Not to mentioned the Rally comes in the cool green matte khaki color and white frame. Premium Showa suspension is very nice too.
I test rode the 900 GT Pro here in the UK. My next bike purchase. For me at 5'9" it was just perfect. Awesome bike, nothing else came close when testing alternatives.
Just bought the GT Pro a couple of days ago, and though it's my first Adventure style bike (cause I'm barely 5'8") I absolutely love this bike. Also I'm 68 years old and have been riding for over 50 years. This bike isn't as intimidating as you would think. Test ride one before making any judgements, you'll be surprised.
I’m 5’7” and 66 and I just bought a Tiger 900 GT Pro. I also have a Victory Vision which is a big heavy bike. It makes the Tiger feel like a dirt bike with a big motor. It’s a nice bike with a great sounding motor.
I went with 2024 Red 1200 GT Pro. Didn't want explorer cause it will be too top heavy with tank filled and Rally I think is overkill for the tarmac. Overall amazing bike. Really happy I bought it.
I’ve been looking at the 1200 GT in red in Wales 🏴, but feel it’s a little tall , but not taken one out to see how the new electronic suspension works I’m just just over 5ft 9ins inside leg around 31ins inseam over with you ,are you taller than this
As always love the exterior shots of the bike in motion... I have a '23 GT Pro so not quite the same, and I have moments when I would rather have a more standard style as opposed to an ADV but your review reminded me why I love this thing.
I would say that the Tiger GT is a tourer based on an ADV chassis. Which makes it capable of some light off road. But it isn't an ADV bike... Lacks more robust suspension and better suit rims/tires for adventure. In my '22TigerGTP I love the quick shifter and the rear electronic suspension I do play a lot with it depending on the road, the payload and feel (I wish the preload to be fully adjustable like the rebound though).
Hi Chase, I've been following and watching you for EVER. How do you just casually say I wreaked my IBEX with no other info. Will there be a video and some type of info on what happened? And I'm very glad you're OK. ❤❤
I wonder if anyone's ever made on-the-go adjustable bars. Like, you undo a little cammed clamp, rotate the bars up higher, do up the clamp again. Surely someone's done that. The OC.
Cost saving for me ( but am not an advocate person too) and by the way love the new gloves the yellow ones were giving if too much of a janitorial vibe. Good stuff👍👍👍
On transalp rain mode is very useful for commuting and roundabouts , it reduces any low rev fuelling surges , and at full traction setting , lessens risk of slide outs from oil on roundabouts and intersections
Just a request , you said “Jesus Christ “ at least three times as a substitute for a profanity ( your voice tone suggested this ) Just as other religions get offended if someone insults Judaism and Islam so I believe Christian’s deserve the same consideration. I am saying this from the heart , if you want to swear just swear , but it’s bad manners to use the name of millions of people’s saviour , whether you believe the concept or not . Cheers
Really considering this as my next bike after the Panigale broke me :') The quickshifter is a must and I guess the heated everything and center stand are nice to have as wel. On this one I could actually take my wife without freaking her out, so... (y)
I would go for the 900 GT and add Quickshifter, Center stand and Crash bars. It would still be way cheaper than the GT pro and I don't need all the extra stuff the GT pro has. I mainly would be ridding to work on city roads, I ride an MT09 and honestly ride modes and all that shit doesn't really matter much. I had my 09 for a year now and never switched ride modes from mode 2 lol that is what it was on when I bought it. So the menu lagging a bit is not a big deal as I pretty much would never go through it.
I wouldn't get the Rally version because I'd want this for on-road long distance riding. I can also do without the extra bells and whistles of the Pro trim level.

Ok
Sounds like the GT Pro would be amazing.
Rally also spoked wheels.
That's the best sounding stock exhaust I've heard in a long time.

@@martinhughes9769Yea I'm 6ft2. I think its fine for your size. Suspension is amazing btw, super comfortable
That Candy Apple Red is the best.
I can't recommend the Tiger 900 GT Pro enough - all the bells and whistles, quick shifter/blipper, heated seats and grips, electronic rear shock
As always love the exterior shots of the bike in motion... I have a '23 GT Pro so not quite the same, and I have moments when I would rather have a more standard style as opposed to an ADV but your review reminded me why I love this thing.
how???
third person perspective shots!!! amazed

I was NOT prepared for that sound lol

Which one did you like more? this or the Africa twin?

The OC.
It's dangerous enough riding without adjusting the bars on the go? Mirrors yes, bars no. Maybe not your best idea. 😉😉😱
I think the whole question is how easy is it to do a wheelie with that motorcycle? At what speed can you do it?

Could be wrong but I think you had the seat in the low position

Thanks my dud
Great vlog do you experience any vibes through the pegs particularly the left peg ..
Should do a first ride on HD Pan-America for comparison
Have never disagreed with you more. It is a purchase for sure.
I wanted to learn a bit about this bike - I only learned you are funny guy, eh...
The GT models are more sport touring based. The rally is more off-road oriented. Their is a pro model in each type... just for clarity.
Is this considered an ADV bike? I thought it's a sports touring bike?
Gad damn ,stock exaust
lol you literally rode with the o e guy who’s triumph broke down. Are they really that good?
Yo Chase! please do the bmw gs1300 asa!
Please try the new Moto Guzzi, Stelvio
Base Africa Twin or Triumph Tiger?
GIVE IT TO MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Tell us more about the heat on knees.its a common issue of this bike
It is very real.
Don’t think the GT is available in Britain 🇬🇧 and 🏴, GT pro upwards ,
The base Tiger 900 was discontinued. Your 900 options are The GT, GT Pro and the Rally Pro.
Hmmm. Those suspension adjusters seem a bit easy for jealous, malicious jokers to mess with.
Jesus Christ! 😮
This bike does have quick shifter ......"the arrogance of this man is astounding"
I think better Tracer 9 GT
too bad it looks like woody the woodpecker.
I give up asking myself why can't these people design a nice looking adv bike.
Sort of… an ADV bike…
lol
@ 5:33 what the F*#! The Ibex is done? Off topic I know, but you liked that bike. Sorry for your loss.
