@IgnitedCoyote Appreciate this video. I worked there as a teenager when it was a Holiday Inn and found the attorney's son who committed suicide in the parking lot by the dumpster. It was a suspicious investigation. It was during the Hodge days and everything in Whitley County was suspicious. My grandmother worked there and retired after 20years. She can tell you some stories.
I’d like to hear some stories I hear how crooked cops and police forces are down that way. I lived there for a summer one time a few years ago. It’s a beautiful place and if I had my own house maybe I would like it better but it was so boring to me when I was there but also I was in a sober house so it wasn’t fun place to be many beautiful women down this way
I wouldn't believe suicides about many supposed suicides in the past.. come on beside a dumpster, i would not belive it after people tried to sell me some tainted drugs (as a round up was happening) and they wanted me to take it, then had me park by a dumpster, but i didn't really take it, i put it in my shirt pocket (because they seemd extra wierd CREEPY LIKE) and drank some water in front of them as if I took it , even if a gun shot doesn't mean suicide around them curropt official people, maybe they had to have that certain person dead, and tried to overdose them, it would look like a hotel guest maybe at party and people at the hotel party wheeled the guy out to the dumpster...
Who was the son that committed suicide? Was it Vickerstaff? I went to school with him.
That is the old Holiday Inn.. I worked there in 1971.. The Six Million dollar man (Lee Majors) stopped in there overnight. At the
time we thought that was a big deal.... I visited in March 1988 and it was still in operation at that time..

It was a Holiday inn way back. I worked in the kitchen there and they had off track betting then. Probably thirty years ago or longer now. They used to be a little log cabin up past the office that was a gift shop I was hoping you would catch on video, but from the looks of it I guess the kudzu has taken it over. Holiday Day Inn from 1997 to 2002 when I worked at Corbin PD.
My mother worked there forever when it was holiday inn. Then when it was best value her and i both worked there. My mother vicki conner is the woman that was murdered by nicholas rucker. It is so sad to see the place like this.

I have eaten there many times when it was Holiday Inn. I dont think I was ever there after Holiday Inn rest closed. It was a very nice place back in the days. We loved going there and eating. I live just up the road from there in London Ky.
I've been there many times when it was. Brand new and it was beautiful.
Great video of a really creepy former motel down in Kentucky. Oh yeah, those vines are Kudzu's. They got them bad in parts of Virginia too and they grow over everything in sight. New Subscriber here.

I remember coming here every Summer. My entire family stayed here that came down from Ohio/Indiana when we had our family reunions.
The Best part for me was the massive pool, and Arcade
My friend was manager when it was Holiday Inn. My girlfriend and I used to use the swimming pool often.
Mountain View Lodge was ran by my family. It’s so sad seeing it like this.
Stayed here a lot when i was younger. Also was a corrections officer when nick rucker was arrested. He was definitely a messed up individual. Love yalls content, keep exploring!
There are several motels in NJ that remind me of The Mountain View.
I don't know why people vandalize what's not theirs. I stayed at Bay mont there a few weeks ago.

I think I stayed there, years ago. If this is the place, it was another name after Holiday. Daniel Boone Motor Lodge? I don't remember a lounge, but I think I was there on a Sunday. Odd... I remember the day, but not the decade.
She kept making comments about how nature was taking over, reclaiming the land. He made a comment to the vines near the entrance *Hey, vines, the ròoms aren't all that great but the price is reasonable" I got a kick out of that! Too funny 😂

When I was little I stayed the night there with my parents during the murders and druggie around 2013. A few years after it got shutdown and in your video I saw a face around the corner 13:12

Most of the glass that was broken was because there was a fire and they where throwing out burnable items out the windows

I gave him a ride to Williamsburg at 5am the next morning , I was staying at the Econo Lodge working out of town and had no clue nothing about the guy , just ask me for a ride and I said hop in

You did bring a gun right? You could run into anyone I-75 right there and people 👍 for a ride on that part of I-75 a lot. I am from Michigan I know how far I-75 gos I been to Florida many times. If you don't have a truck do not pick up riders. I say truck because they can ride in the back.
