We can rebind Google Assistant/Gemini on Chinese Roms with apps like Key Mapper (Volume Key) or Activities Launcher (Power Button). It varies from brand to brand, for example Xiaomi HyperOS doesn't work well with Key Mapper but we can use the power button to wake up assistant with Power Button using Activity Launcher.
Thank you very much. I am also very picky, so I thank you all the more for showing such small subtleties. I think it will work for me (Germany). And yet I’m scared. 😅
Congratulations first for UA-cam channel and I will look forward to see best of both world's.... Can you make a comparasion video with phone with and without Google....It gonna be damn interesting 😅😅
What about the in-game functions? Like game frame interpolation, AI upscaler, and other functions, do they work on any global game or only chinese games?
Hi, thanks for the video. I have a few problems when need to do a backup on Google photos. Do you have any problems to do the backup for your photos? I have a vivo next 3 it's a old version and I still have the problem to do the backup in the Google photos. Did you have any issue about that?.
True, a unique experience would've been way better, in terms of innovation and all that. But in a situation like this where no brand is making much progress in that department, I'd say that the best thing would be to mix the best of both worlds, no?
Hello, thankyou for the detailed review, I got information that this device have issue with connectivity on android wearable , is it really true? Because I want to connect it with my smartband...
Hi, just small picky question. When you swipe down for the notification bar and settings (bluetooth, wifi, etc.), Can you customize it or change it like in OneUI in samsung? What if i would like to have more traditional view, upfront, = Wifi, Bluetooth, below other fuctions, which could end with brightness bar.
I have a Vivo x100s (only Chinese version}. It's impossible to make a Whatsapp call via Bluetooth with the smartwatch, while with Samsung (Chinese firmware) can do it. All Chinese brand have this issue. Any suggest?
@@kisekihikari8459 Not if you live outside of China. It's not about the apps you use, it's about where you live. China blocks access to foreign websites and services.
@CasualReviewsAK vivo outside china has funtouch os and it's inferior looking compared to origin os. Otherwise, I really like the 6.3 inch size of x200 pro mini.
What happens if you type in an english prompt for the AI assistant? Will it recognize it? The AI seems to know and understand english and there it even happend, vivo is probably just limiting it to chinese.
@@redlottery It responds in English. But it's not as useful and definitely not as 'eloquent' as it is in Chinese. Also it can't recognize more than a few English words at a time, it'll stop listening. It's almost as if the UI doesn't allow it. I even tried asking it to always respond in English even if I speak to it in Chinese. It said okay but didn't last long.

Please make more of these! Great video and it was exactly what I was looking for.
All i want is this phone to be released globally. Ive heard people more excited about this phone than the pro version. Such a miss opportunity

And yet I’m scared. 😅
I hope it will be in Germany, this phone is so fine. Perfect size!! Its so hard to find compact phones
Most likely won´t happen sadly.
You have the xiaomi 14 which is same size as this

Hello. Good review. Are there any internet problems as we don't have the B20(for the Europe)🎉 800MHz band?? Thank you
Can you please check how apps like Nova Launcher and KWGT widgets work?
This phone boasts excellent hardware. I wish they had adopted a unique approach instead of creating a carbon copy of the iPhone. 🤦🏻♂️

They have a global ROM called funtouch OS it looks different
@@ChuckNORRlS i wish origin os is global that funtouch so boring and outdated
Nothing OS is unique...
Yeah😢
Another thing that doesn't work is the quick share. Vivo has native Vivoshare but I haven't been able to get it to work.

@@Wraithfear89 Hi. Sure, of course that's possible. UI Customization is no biggie for OriginOS.

Can you activate Google assistant via voice? How does it handle things like Nova Launcher o KWGT widgets?
Yes but you lose the ability to use the home button like traditional android. You can only use it to exit or switch to recent apps.
@karzan4784 thanks, can you install things like Nova Launcher without loosing gesture navigation?

What about Android auto?
I’m on an x fold 3 Chinese ROM but haven’t received update to origin OS 5. Anyone else in the UK received it?
it would be available on december for other devices. Currently the only device that has the Origin OS 5 are the x200 series
Go for the beta option then you receive it directly, I did it yesterday with my vivo xf3p. And it even solved a minor issue with the Tesla app

Maybe Chinese ROM blocks Google service
What about notifications staying on lock screen? Is that fixed? Or they disappear once opened the phone.
I want to ask if you can get Android Auto to work but I guess not possible in China
