It'll never hold if you nudge in a double feature with an Andy cap. Used to know every trick in the book with these things. Used to rob the older machines and spend it all in the newer ones like this or Wed all go home with a good bit of cash in our pockets. Lived down the arcades as a teen. Good times.
I made a fortune out of this machine when I was doing bar work. It was in front of the bar so we used to watch how much went in over a night and whoever was first to clock off got on it and won a tidy sum,. I earned more from that machine than I did working in the pub. Then it was on to the Crystal Maze machine in the other bar and I could do every game on that so it was always just a case of seeing the ratio of silver and gold tokens there were at the end. If there was a lot of silver it wasn't ready to pay out but if there was a lot of gold it was ready. If I didn't quite do it when there was a lot of gold, I'd just have another go and I'd win the next time so I was always guaranteed a £3 on that each weekend night too.
ive a viva las vegas bwb only bought recently was working fine tired changing game cards now batterys went on mpu4 board dosent appear to be much damage around it have you ever had to change the battery on this ? any help or advice is appreicated < thanks colin
Is this on 20p play. Strange £8 jackpot but only 6 on the end of feature jp Very quiet paying out! I used to have the poorer bwb version on 10p/£6. Long gone now tho..
Them horrid tokens with the groove that had to be put in the slot just right, there was also an option of a prize instead of the tokens, gold plated chains or watches, and even miniature carriage clock that one of my mates gave his mum for her birthday, cheapskate lol
My dad was mint at this. Brings back so many memories of Rhyl arcades.
I used to play this machine back in the pub in the 90s , cops and Robbers was another classic too
Fun fact: That WHOOSH sound at 0:46 was also used in the Welsh claymation animated series Gogs.
I was so addictited to this in my teens
Me too used to put most of my wages in it 😁
the days when you used to be guaranteed a feature in a few quid are long gone

Thanks for the vid, m8. I’ve just got one of these machines. Works well, everything seems fine. Have you ever had any problems with yours?
Do you still own it?
@@danny8468 yes, still going strong. A 4 reeler. Not 3.
Does this still take the old 10 pence coin and tokens?
One for the road. What it do???
