How, I miss my RV6-A. It's already been 14 years since I had to give it up because of health issues, but I still feel grateful for having had the opportunity to build it and fly it. Not many can say that. What a great little airplane.
I really want an RV but can't sell my wife spending 100k plus an airplane. I have seen a few RV-6s for 50k range used not sure if that is a low price or not.
It's a small world when I am just watching a random RV-6 video and happen to see the exact RV-6 I am looking at as a possible candidate to buy show up on the screen around 3:10! I was like, wow that plane with the orange stripe has a striking resemblance to C-FYQS - oh wait haha, it is C-FYQS.
Nice! You expect these kinds of things from bush planes, but great to see common aircraft can land in exotic places as well. Not trying it any time soon, though! :D
Amazing scenery and editing. For newer pilots learning like myself, how do you manage safety to just land on a beach without potentially running into people-or is this so remote no one would be there? Any laws and safety protocols would be helpful to know.
that's almost enough to make me want to fly all the way out to the west coast! gotta get an RV... my Luscombe and C150 will take too long to get there!
Do you know if this is applicable in Canada, I assume this is US only? Good information to know when I’m in the US though with so many military zones south of the border.
I wouldn't land on a salt covered beach with a plane unless it was an emergency (or not my plane). I've seen what salt spray does to an aluminum boat and the idea of exposing an aircraft to that is horrific.
The RV-6 is aerobatic within a smaller weight-range than the RV7. For my weight, about 220 lbs, I don't get to carry much more than about a gallon and a half of fuel if I want to do aerobatics and be within limits in an RV-6. An RV-7 is generous enough that I can actually fuel up the plane and possibly carry a small passenger.

Wow what an amazing video. Months away from finishing my RV7. That trip is on my bucket list for sure.
Epic editing job and concept. This is the best RV adventure flight. Mountains and beach on the same flight.
RV-6’s are great little airplanes. Beautiful country up there
Just amazing video’s you produce! Your flying adventures and the airmanship you display is an inspiration to all of us! Keep’em coming.
That's one of your best. And great to see an RV grease a beach landing!
Amazing video! Thanks ! I see172 with wheel pants on... so I guess I can land there my RV10 ?! Need to find someone who went there and fly together.
Great video. What a trip!
Wow. This video made me subscribe. Great plane, video, editing, and scenery! I’m looking to build an RV soon

I had to give this a thumbs up for the editing of this video! Absolutely awesome!

Ok... got rid of the 150 and got myself an RV6... planning the west coast trip this summer :)
Amazing video ❤
Amazing video and channel. How do you not have more subscribers?!
Awesome! Can’t wait to finish my 10.
Looks like a lot of fun

Awesome man. If you go again, let me know and I'll join you in my 7A
Great video. I hope to land on this beach this summer. It’s 35 minutes away and the sand looks well packed! CAH3.
awesome job filming and nice flying!
Living the dream!

Amazing 😻
Very cool video. I started to make some by myself and know what is involved. Got some ideas for future videos - thanks for posting!
Great video!
How many camera mounts did you use? I don’t see the camera mounted on a gimbal for those steep turns
Too many. It's trickery perhaps:)
Incredible video! This is the best I've seen for GA flying in BC. Where is the glacier in the video?
There were actually several glaciers, all located roughly in the Squamish area of southern coastal BC.
Wow. So cool! I want to build one of these planes!
love it
Epic.
Great !
Just a heads up to all the pilots flying low around scenery. Tune in FSS 255.4 and make sure not jets are doing low level training.

does the rv6 have removable wings? I mean easily removable like the 12?
Although I have never removed the wings, I would think it is not an easy task, nor would they be considered "removable".
No
You should put some tundra tires on
That water looks cold. 🥶
ياريتنى كنت معاكم :)
Guy in green marshalling the Cessna....there's always one
So awesome! What is your approach speed and how short can you land your RV?
I'm about 85 mph on short final, slowing down more in the flare. I'm not sure the actual stopping distance.
I'm short final in an RV8 at 75kt and 70kt over the fence. I can land to a full stop in about 650m of smooth tarmac. Shorter on grass.
Very cool vid, as always.
Who makes that baggage compartment cover?
Also, do you have a jettison canopy?
The interior (including baggage cover) is from Classic Aero Designs. No ejection canopy.
Thanks!
Hoping to find your opinion on the biggest differences between the RV6 and RV7 from an owners standpoint?
Any thought appreciated!
I don't think there's a ton of differences. The RV-6 has a smaller tail and shorter wingspan, but the 2 models are quite similar.
Thank you for taking the time! Love the videos and I am hoping I have an RV6 in my future!

Hello
I'm interested in the purchase of a v6. Can we get in touch. I have some general questions I'd like to ask. Marek Gomolka
cool vid, thanks, though the music... well. And pity you let that spam can spoil the picture 😉
Great video but who wants a beach with out girls?????
So bad ass
Gee I wouldn't wanna take an A model Vans there!
wouldn't that sand be harder than snow? ua-cam.com/video/dNElmKRdd9k/v-deo.html
wow
👍!
Lol
