Something that I like about Nightcrawler is that he fits neatly into all three X-Men leaders' teams. He likes Cyclops if he can get his Brimstone Blitz to work 2+ times; he likes Prof. X because he should be BAMFing every round; and he likes the Storm Hop for extra dice on his Brimstone Blitz. I just wish that I could get that dang trigger on blitz... :-D
I agree with brimstone being a trap. Tried a bunch of team comps that theoretically could allow him to blitz many, many times, buuuuuut he just performs way better grabbing an obj and teleporting around the battlefield or moving across the map to grab an abandoned secure in the final turn. I also remember everyone going nuts about potential turn 1 mass transit plays, and then he came out and they just never happened???
Yeah, I remember the buzz around his ability to one-shot Hulk when revealed, and my whole initial take was 'sure, if the triggers hit'. It is a cool ability, but definitely not what I am building around
You say damage doesn’t actually have to be dealt to trigger Ha-ha. Is that correct? Would it not just say “after this attack is resolved” instead if that was the case? I’m a little confused about this wording.
I am guessing because of his additional trigger that allows him to place next to the target GM character following an attack. The way everything would trigger, you check to see if you are in range 2, if so, you stun, if not, the stun fails to occur. Then you could trigger his puff of smoke, and place nightcrawler within range 2. So it is likely to avoid being to stack the triggers to always stun

I have yet to personally get the blitz off. The trigger is deceptive in how often you will see it happen, for sure

As a victim of the trigger, I can confirm that when it goes off, it doesn’t feel great.

The trigger is not reliant on damage being dealt, rather it is telling you that it will trigger following the step in which damage is dealt
So why doesn’t it say “after this attack is resolved” like many other cases? What’s the difference
Many thanks for the reply btw
