Everyone is mad that bear is ending for this, but cheed already said in the hour long interview that BEAR will have many future referances, and will always be remembered fondly as the game that started a whole new genre, and a game developer’s career. Rest in peace, BEAR.

@@SCOTTISHTURNIP I'd take a break. Plus I would actually try on a new project. Cheed did not try at all with this. It's not even a month since bear was announced being discontinued in 2024. He needs to take time and make a actual good new project.

Honestly...i'm dissapointed. I expected this new game to actually be good (for me), but sacrificing Bear*'s updates for a racing game is not worth it in my opinion.
I repeat, this Is my opinion. I'm not saying what Cheedaman should do or anything. Cheedaman does what he wants with his games.

this is exciting, hopefully it will be a little bit like bear where u have skins, (SIDENOTE: the game name of ps got rechanged to INCOMING, and when i saw that, cheed was in studio, but cheed was probably only in studio cuz of november 13th and hes working on gummy sam, but neitherway he could also be working on the new game, so this means it could either come out earlier than the end of november, a extra to add to that is there will most likely be gamepasses, i checked the offsale gamepasses on the game and there is 2 gamepasses, one could be extra coins, one could also be vip, there is also gonna be a currency called brownies, how do i know that? well when i checked into the developer products files of the game, i saw that u can buy brownies, there was a option to buy 4000 brownies for 2000 robux,)

As a game dev, i can understand cheed’s side. Hes been working on bear* for the past 3 years and the gameplay loop is pretty stale. Who knows maybe a 3rd bear game is coming soon? Sometimes people just wanna step away from horror.

He dropped bear because it was getting tiring. He and the dev team were constantly working to make events and updates all the time, even throwing in some occasional ones like Carnival event, 13th gummy bear album, Grandmaster, etc.
