@@Andrew-rc3vh how is it? I am aware that every institution has its defaults so I am not idealising uom. I am just amazed by how well they conducted their intro, and the thoroughness put in this video it's indication about how much they care.
@@crystaltekate It's a radical left-wing kind of place. I went there myself and was very disillusioned. In the past it was an academic institution, but not any more. I remember every time I went past that student union building there would be a bunch of political activists heckling me when I just wanted my lunch. The food was disgusting in the student union bar as well. You'd think academics knew something about nutrition, but evidently not. I saw a big contrast though between the students who came from the Far East and had to pay over the odds for their course. They took it seriously and got top marks, but the British culture was pretty much get as drunk as possible. The students were very naive as well. It really did feel like step backwards from the school I had come from. Unfortunately I do not think it is that different from many universities now. The standards have gone way down. I think Oxford and Cambridge are still good ones, but generally speaking I'd opt for a smaller more traditional university. It's so large in Manchester that it felt like a faceless institution. On the plus side though Manchester Physics had some good lecturers, but I'm unsure if they are any good now. They were from times gone by.

@@hafsazafar4749 In Indonesia, after you get LoA from university, u can applied for scholarship to give you all accomodation you need. I dont know how in pakistan work, but I hope you get a way.
