Shayda, loved it.Please also do a tutorial on background trees and detailing on them.I mess up the trees while addding the details so would love to see your approach once.Thanks.
I have only been painting for two weeks, and tonight, I painted my first tree! I loved it! Your videos have been so helpful and given me confidence to try things. Thank you!
Hi Shayda, I'm relatively new to watercolour, I paint in oils and acrylic predominantly, the idea of leaving out paint instead of using white is "different". I loved this tutorial and about to get out my practice journal with links to videos in the margin, if I could make a suggestion?... Some new to art have problems with light and understanding the importance, maybe mentioning that the dark at the bottom of your large tree was because sunlight was overhead and dark is the shaded area of the tree, as you know as an artist it's what bring depth and dimension and hard for new artists unless explained. Thanks for sharing you knowledge 🌻🐝🌱🐦🙏🌏
I am sure it will be quite handy for a landscape architects at the beginning of their study! I personally watch it just to relax and learn how to make my art videos better because this cinematography&editing are so pleasant to look at 😍
Shayda you have no idea how much I’ve learned from you. Thank you for always making learning so easy and fun. Never thought I could paint but I started with your mini flowers and now taking bigger steps. Keep doing what you do 💕
Just a hint from a fellow artist - using your good watercolor brushes to mix the paint will wear them out a lot faster, you should always mix paint with an old brush. Very nice and concise video on how to paint trees.
I just dont know how to draw tress and this video is very much useful for me in drawing tress beacause i dont know how to draw them . thankyou shayda mam for these trees ❤
Yippy. I have been waiting for this. I struggle to do different shapes of trees and trunks. The oak is useful. I am in the UK and we have a lot of these. I think it would be great to learn how to do autumnal trees soon. Update: It was really useful that you had some comparisons and examples, and I liked the tip that you mentioned with regards to the border... once again, you pointed somethings out that is small, but important and made it easy to understand. I also like your photography, it is clear, and not moving about constantly and being annoying, it flows well. I have tried doing trees but they just end up looking like blotches of thick green paint and smudges.. we will see what happens when I do practice this weekend. I love trees and I am a local Tree Surveyor for the Tree Council. in the UK. I live not far from 100 acre wood and have played pooh sticks nearby. My great aunt lived there and got fed up with the annoying tourists lol
hi Shayda, i really loved doing watercolour paintings but somtimes it really does'nt come out well and the day i say ur channel i liked many videos you did and thx for making me a better artist in botanical art =]
Hi shayda! Can u please do a landscape painting for ur next vid? I love all of ur floral paintings but I really am curious as to how you would do landscape(amazing obviously)! Cuz I also love to paint landscapes u know what I mean?
So do I. I want to be able to paint fences, bridges, hedges, paths, roads, distant people, like walkers, in landscapes as I can't draw people. Something generalisic so we can tweak things. Parks would be good, most places have parks and can look similar. I get very stuck with what do with the foreground, I just end up doing grass and rushes
Hi! Dear Shayda! I'm very (very-very!) like your tutorials and lessons! You made my live with my diary mostyi peaceful as it can be. I wish your opinion about russian watercolors by Neva Palitra. Thanks in advance.
