NAH let's compare it to a completely different game because it was made by Tarsier.
STOP acting like Tarsier studios are the only ones who are capable of making a good game.

There's nothing wrong with being excited for Reanimal. What is wrong is flooding the community with this competitive mindset that one game has to be better than the other. None of these games are objectively better than the other.
While I was a little exaggeratory about hating the community, I do think there are genuinely fantastic people who surround Little Nightmares. It's just that there's starting to be more toxic people rather than people who are actually passionate about the series.
Will we get more content from little nightmares III at gamescom something like a gameplay trailer or something?

Exactly! Although I do think that this latest trailer for LN3 was a little underwhelming, we should keep in mind that the trailer was titled “friendship trailer” so the whole point of this trailer was to showcase the friendship between Low and Alone so obviously they won’t focus on the scary stuff, if they decide to make a Halloween trailer that’s probably when we’ll get to see the creepy stuff (which personally i’m more excited for). I just think that there’s a lot that supermassive and Bandai are hiding because they don’t want to spoil too much, that was my only complaint with LN2, they showcase too much before the game came out.

When people say that Reanimal is "real" LN, they just insult Supermassive and all the work they are doing. This is not an opinion, that's just hate. I didn't even know about Reanimal, but if I has a different gameplay style from LN3 and complaining it's the same, they need to open their eyes and see that there are games that have inspiration from other games as well, how dumb can people get?

Well seeing how prevalent this incredibly toxic mindset is is very upsetting. But my true, straight from the heart opinion of Little Nightmares 3 is it’s incredibly faithful to Little Nightmares and it’s awful seeing people put down Supermassive and the hard work they’ve put in just because they’re not the same developer.
But all in all, I’m still very excited for Little Nightmares 3 and I’m confident I’ll love it.

Couldnt agree more with you, it is really saddening and disappointing to me because I never knew about THIS side of the community. They don't even realize how lucky we are of getting a 3rd game for a franchise that was supposed to end with the 2nd game, and somehow they still complain about the atmosphere, the characters, the designs and gameplay, they treat the game like absolute trash and at this point I feel really bad for Supermassive, they took the risk of continuing a game series that needs to be treated with love and passion because a minuscule detail can stray away from the essence of the franchise, they work hard and somehow managed to replicate the LN vibes (at least for me), and still, people put them down and don't appreciate the amazing job they're doing on a game that not every studio can handle, they really show how passionate they are about it but its doesnt seem to be enough for the toxic part of the community that dont seem to be real fans.
About ReAnimal I think it looks fucking amazing too, I'm just as excited for it, but I dont see why people should be comparing the two games and saying one is better than the other, like, just enjoy it while it lasts because its not everytime that you see games like this. Personally, I can't wait for 2025 to play these 2 masterpieces that will surely become my favorite games, thanks Tarsier and Supermassive for the effort and love for these kind of games

While I do think Reanimal looks more promissing, I'm excited for both games, I don't know why people are trashing Supermassive games when they could be happy with the fact that we are getting two LN games at the same time.
I know that LN3 feels a little different but it does what it needs to do as a little nightmares game. have you seen supermassve's catalogue? it looks nothing like little nightmares. but this? they have done an INCREDIBLE job at replicating the gameplay, artstyle, everything, that makes a little nightmares game.
I love tarsier and it's sad to see them step away from LN but supermassive is doing an amazing job and deserve to be respected. had they not stepped in, you probably wouldn't be getting another little nightmares at all.

First people are happy that there’s a new LN game, then Tarsier leaves and comes up with a new game, now suddenly everybody’s negative about LN3. It’s absolute bs, why would a game suck because the old studio came up with a cool looking game.
I’m glad the reddit mods have worked towards limiting posts about the opposite game in the opposite subreddit because it was getting kind of annoying. I’m also glad the Friendship Trailer got a lot of love on Twitter, I never understood why all of a sudden people created the narrative that the Necropolis is far from the Little Nightmares aesthetic when 1 and 2’s visual styles were also quite different. + The new demo video in the candy factory makes the game look even more promising.

When I watched REANIMAL I really enjoyed it and thought to myself that "Wow I really like this game" and I realized why they gave up on Little nightmares 3. Because even if Reanimal does give vibes of little nightmares it's VERY different to the Little nightmares and what Little nightmares tries to do.
I was very scared of the community to not compare them because they are VERY DIFFERENT!
I am really glad that they gave up on little nightmares and didn't want to continue it like this. The fact that they knew that the way they wanted to continue making games is not suited for little nightmares and knew where to stop to not ruin the game really made my heart relieved.
I was (and am) personally very excited for Little nightmares 3 when I saw the new trailer because I really felt a connection and the vibe of little nightmares. I am very glad and excited because I see the time they take to make this game as good as possible (especially since Supermassive games worked on little nightmares 2, so they know the deal and understand the little nightmare universe)

I am more excited for Reanimal but doesn't mean I'm not curious about Little Nightmares 3. I just hope it doesn't become another Callisto Protocol vs Dead Space Remake in which only one of them is good.
I want both games to be good. These scums should be happy that we are getting more of these type of games. Even more so with the fact that both games differentiate from each other with the art style and lightning.

Reanimal looks far more like inside and thats a game that was released before all the Little Nightmares games the only similarity between LN3 and Reanimal is the style of character the same when you compare Little Nightmares öne to well Inside only similarity Charakter style and from the surrounding Reanimal looks like inside

Sigh...i knew this would happen.
Yesterday, after watching both Reanimal and Little Nightmares 3 trailers, i was sure that people would start comparing them.
Because with already how many people were and still are having doubts about LN3 that it won't be scary, it won't feel like a LN game and blah blah it was kinda obvious that something like this would break out.
Reanimal definitely gives LN vibes, but in my opinion it has some features which wouldn't fit in LN.
Like the voice acting, the blood and it's way darker, way darker.
I believe that's one of the reasons why Tarsier moved on from Little Nightmares, to try and experiment and test their skills with stuff that wouldn't fit in Little Nightmares.
In my opinion, Little Nightmares isn't meant to be based around blood and Christianity and possessions an all that, it's supposed to be based around your childhood fears.
Back when we were children, we probably didn't even know what those were.
It really bothers me to see the community of my favourite game to behave like this when everything could be solved if we simply didn't compare anything and love both games as they are.
It doesn't matter which is better, both are masterpieces made by studios who both have potential.
And i agree with you that most likely if Bandai Namco had put a Tarsier logo on LN3 all the drama would disappear.

I remember back then when LN2 was announced, everyone were having doubts about Mono that they won't like him as much as Six.
But when the game came out we all immediately loved this little bag boy, and he became popular like Six, if not more than her.
Let's hope that when Little Nightmares 3 comes out people will put down their doubts, stop all this useless comparability, and give it a chance.
What also bothers me is that after Tarsier handled LN to Bandai, Bandai could have easily done nothing and not make a LN3, and then war would break out that we got no LN3 game even if Reanimal was out it would never be LN3 itself.
So yeah that's what i wanted to say and unfortunately I'm seeing the community making a useless war between LN3 and Reanimal.
When they could easily just accept and love both games.

It is honestly sad how time and time again people on the internet prove to be or act like toxic little whiney kids. This reminds me a lot of how pvz fans used to glaze Popcap with "ea bad popcap good!!11". People can't just have things, they always look for an excuse to complain, and that has been proven even before REANIMAL was showcased. People legit just hated on this game and went "oh its gonna be bad, they already messed up with necropolis, yada yada yap", and now that REANIMAL has been showcased, they can meaninglessly glaze tarsier as their saviors, the gods who created the great Little Nightmares I & II.
People should be very glad to get a little nightmares made by a company who cares to actually create a product that wants to live up to what everyone loved about little nightmares. People should even be glad to get another little nightmares after Tarsier left. And people should especially be glad that they're both getting little nightmares and a new IP to fond over from Tarsier. Instead they just want something to complain about and an excuse to be negative and keep shitting on this game.

Like, imagine that if after Tarsier handed Little Nightmares to Bandai and left, Bandai could just take the game and leave it in the shadows forever without making a third game, but no.
They actually took the effort and time to find a new studio to work on a new game because they wanted to continue the franchise.
If Bandai had done nothing, we would just get Reanimal, and everyone would say that "Yeahh this is Little Nightmares 3!" But it would never truly be Little Nightmares 3, and so war would break out.
We should be thankful and glad that Bandai took in the effort to find a new studio to work on a new game than just leaving it in the dark forever.

Yeah i get your point too, some people are here just for the gameplay really and they don't really care about anything else and that is fine.
And comparing things is fine as well, it's normal human behaviour, but this can affect the game's overall success. For example if you hear from someone that Reanimal is better than LN3, you might not even give LN3 a chance a just go straight for Reanimal.
And so I'm afraid that people might not even give Little Nightmares 3 a chance to play it at all, and it really sucks because both games will be amazing and we're just gonna miss out because of this.
The fandom for this game has always been sketchy, even outside of this particular situation. I've been a fan of the game since 2017 around the first release, and being here that long you'll quickly notice that [some of] the fans are quick to jump to one extreme or the other. Example being the Six and Mono shipping pandemic. The characters knew each other for a few hours at best, and Six literally dropped Mono to his certain doom because if the shit he put her through.. and some people thought that translated to "OMG HE HAS A CRUSH ON HER HOW TRAGIC
Its absolutely horrible to say Reanimal is the real little nightmares 3 when it doesn't even follow the atmosphere. You cannot just look at two small people hiding from big monsters and instantly say "this is little nightmares" you have to look at the overall perspective. Little nightmares expresses childhood fear and corruption. So everyone Ive seen saying little nightmares 3 does not look like little nightmares are fake little nightmares fans otherwise they'd know little nightmares 3 fits the world of little nightmares, and for the record, if there wasn't a Tarsier logo on Reanimal no one would give a squat about the game.

I think the main reason (at least for me) why I prefer at least the trailer for Reanimal is just setting and I think that's more so because they've seemed to show a bit more? Which is good and bad. I like how Little Nightmares 3 I feel like I don't know what I'm getting into and I'm sure it'll be good and for reanimal I can sorta see what most the setting is gonna be and I'm excited

In my opinion reanimal looks okay (not great but okay) but honestly I think little nightmares 3 has the good hands on this one.

Little Nightmares III looks with the same style as the other two games. Reanimal is awesome too, but so is Little Nightmares III.
And not to mention that Supermassive Games was supposed to release the game this year, but instead they are releasing next year so the game can be better. The hate they are getting is more than unfair to the effort they are putting in this project.
Unfortunately, people like this are in every community, so I'm starting to get used to it. As soon as I can, I'm going to buy both games and I'm sure I'll have fun with them.
Honestly LN3 looks better than I expected, honestly I prefer the direction supermassive is going compared to 2 in terms of gameplay, the combat actually looks...Enjoyable.
I thought 2 was kind of a letdown - clearly had a rushed dev cycle and all that jazz, however the community is literally just slop-horror-tuber brand kids, so naturally the community is just, total bollocks.
Reanimal seems to be taking a more dark tone and hopefully has better gameplay than 2, and the fact BOTH have online coop seems really cool!
So, having two cakes to eat is nice, I'm just hoping the ending for 3 and Reanimal don't suck.
I loved 2, but even I can agree the gameplay here looks very improved, especially the combat. Let's be excited for 2 games instead of 1!

I was watching a theory video on reanimal and then the creator kept mocking this other creator who just reciprocated what tarsier said that they were not related to little nightmares anymore and then just kept on mocking the ONE creator they saw say that when plenty others were also reciprocating tarsier concerns.

I personally did not know the little nightmares community was that awful. I personally saw both games little nightmares three and reanimal as two separate games and that’s it. They both have a similar style. And I personally believe every instalment of little nightmares just got better and better and better. To see little nightmares three graphics is just epic and I wanna play it. But to know the original developers of the game are making a new game, reanimal is just so cool to know because that means it’s just like more content and I personally love the series both companies made. And so I’m happy they get to make two separate games about two separate things but they’re basically have the exact same field and tone. I personally did not know this about the little nightmares community for that that’s just upsetting. But I love any game I’m a gamer. so understanding that people are giving hate to a game that’s not even released it’s just really stupid and really pathetic. I don't get why people say Little Nightmares 3 and ReAnimal are going to be bad or terrible, Little Nightmares 3 is literally like Little Nightmares 1 and 2, it just has a different atmosphere because it's in another setting, Little Nightmares 1 was set in the ocean and it's atmosphere was yellow and blue, Little Nightmares 2 was set in a city and it's atmosphere was blue, and Little Nightmares 3 is set in a wasteland and it's atmosphere is orange, so it's not a surprise why Little Nightmares 3 has a orange atmosphere. And for ReAnimal, it is its own horror game that is like Little Nightmares but much more gory and darker and a bit more scary, both Little Nightmares 3 and ReAnimal are going to be good, or even great! Anyways, can't wait for ReAnimal and Little Nightmares 3 to release.

Speaking as someone who's an "outsider" (i.e. a casual fan of LN), I think this sort of mindset and behavior is unfair to BOTH games and their development teams. Both games took time and effort to put together and I feel THAT is what should be noted and respected. Does Reanimal look incredible so far? Yes. But LN3 doesn't look terrible by any means! They could've simply done a cheap, uninspired retread of LN1&2 and had no unique or creative vision whatsoever, but it's clear that there is at least some creativity behind the project, and it's awesome to see them expanding the worldbuilding. I can understand being passionate about a series, but how some fans are acting is just immature.
They forgot that tarsier is still helping in leading little nightmares 3. And suppermassive games which made a lot of good games are litteraly making little nightmares 3??? They are only basing on trailers and tarsier chose to show the more intense parts of reanimal whilst, little nightmares 3 showed more of mechanics and puzzles. It's so dumb to think that because you didn't see the more horror/intense parts of a game it's bad.
so... I knew that Little Nightmares 3 does not have the same art as before, but I still wanted to play it because I love the series, and featuring multiplayer for the first time!! I feel like it should be the main topic of discussion instead of worrying about reanimal being the very same people that made the original two plus dlc's artwork... seems pointless to worry about A.. pretty art, then worrying about the story and the gameplay if it's fun or not.

As a fan of Little Nightmares, I'll say I'm happy for both.
I LOVE the music of the first trailer of LNIII and, to me, Suppermasive Games nailed the look and feel of the series, the co-op also is more like a natural progression.
Reanimal looks to be more gruesome, but that is fine. Both have every right to exist. I wish them both success.
At the end of the day it is an video game community and I thing in someway every video games community is toxic in someway, even liltle nightmare in somepoint.

I have kinda compared LN3 And ReAnimal together, but for me I've never claimed that one was better than the other, I like both games and I'm excited to play both of them.

honestly i think it is because the community does not like that tarsier did not make the 3rd game, they think just because it was made by a diffirent company it will be terrible, and also i think people think because tarsier is the og creatior of little nightmares they are the only ones who can make the story line

We've done this song and dance before with FNaF, Hating the new devs, just cause they are new, and can sometimes fuck up, i hate it when people judge things based on whether it was made by the original creator or not, and not based on actual quality, it's unfair and not nice to the new devs, Tarsier studio is great, and i'm willing to bet, Supermassive Games will be great too, it's really DIFFICULT to ruin Little Nightmares, because little nightmares is inherently simple and easy to understand, which is a good thing, because it's really easy to adapt.
I think LN3 looks awesome so far!! Thank you for standing up and saying people are wrong for trashing on LN3 already, I wish some people could give it a chance.

I was unsure about LN 3 at first, it might have been the brighter lighting in the first parts of the necropolis that felt out-of-place, it might have been the slightly different approach to the design of the kids but after seeing the most recent trailer, yeah it definitely feels like little nightmares. I’m excited for both Reanimal and LN 3, they both look so great!
The bright atmosphere is present in both LN1 (especially the guest level) and in VLN, I never really got this complaint as only LN2 and it's comics are darker
And the child design is different but does make sense given their background lore

And I recall seeing that low and alone are more experienced at surviving the nowhere and that they've been doing it for a while, but I don't remember exactly where so I'll try looking for a source later
@@andrejv.2834 Yeah, I guess that makes sense, I’m still confused about where Alone found a child-sized hazmat suit and pilot hat. I think that’s my biggest issue with her design. All the other LN children are wearing clothes that you wouldn’t be too surprised to see on a child in the real world and they tend to be light and easy to move in but Alone’s suit looks quite clunky
I'm excited for both games tbh, I have hope that Supermassive Games can make the game great. And Reanimal looks like Tarsier finally making the horror games they really want to again without bending it to Bandai's rules.

Game communities as a whole have gotten toxic, before game is even out they are comparing it, why not just be happy a new game is coming out, why do we always need to compare them to previous games. Yes it plays/looks differen't no shit that is what they are meant to do, to be different, fresh, new in their own way while still connecting to previous games in the series.
I was surprised by how much hate LN3 was getting. I'm still super excited for both games, I think they both look great and I want to support the developers and artists of both games because it's so much hard work. I hope the people complaining or comparing are children low-key, because it's just super immature to do that.

I really can't understand the point. We used to have Little Nightmares from Tarsier, and after their departure from Bandai we were going to get nothing. Now we are blessed with the Little Nightmares franchise continuing with Supermassive, and with another gem by Tarsier, like we are getting 2 LN games at the same time. And people are complaining? Damn, we really are living in bad times...
First of all, competition is healthy in a game dev environment! It gets devs on both sides to try to make the best product they can! Secondly, there are many similarities to LN and REANIMAL, I don't know if you noticed, but in general, when someone who's atleast seen a LN game looks at REANIMAL, one of the very FIRST thoughts is, "This looks similar to little nightmares", just look at all the trailer reaction videos on youtube. Thirdly, a lot of people aren't disliking LN3, its just that the info we've gotten so far, has been lacking, many people, including me, felt that the new LN3 trailer was quite disappointing for many fans, we waited almost a year for a new trailer, to see mostly the necropolis and the monster baby. The biggest reveals in the trailer were a >shadow< of a new enemy, and a little bit of the clothing of another enemy. I really like LN3, I even bought the diorama for it! But in the end, many fans, like me, feel like REANIMAL will just be a better experience, its not like all of us are saying; "LN3 is bad!!111!!!11", like you make it seem, its just that based on what we've seen so far, many of us feel like we will have more fun with REANIMAL. A lot of the community is twisting words and making it seem like a lot of us are disliking LN3 because of REANIMAL, (Yes that might be true for some, but thats a very small amount + There are even people on the opposite side, disliking REANIMAL because of LN3, just look at amyceebee's posts on the reanimal subreddit) but that is simply untrue.

Aren't these the same fucking people that were begging Bandai Namco for years for little nightmares content? So they just abandone ship when they finally get it? Jesus christ. Me myself I'll enjoy playing both games tbh. They both look good. Shame that some Tarsier fans are being assholes right now to the product they were on their knees for but it is what it is.

Competition ia a good thing. Tarsier gets to make rhe game they always wanted to make. The Little Nightmare franchise was extremely sensored. LN3 no doubt will be a good game, but REANIMAL gives me goosebumps just thinking about playing it.
After seeing reanimal, I am excited for it, but I think LN3 will still be great! It looks spooky, and I can’t wait to see where the story goes.
I have watched a few more videos on reanimal and I am really really excited. But I still think that little nightmares 3 is still great.
If they aren’t connected (which they probably won’t be) then that would mean that we could get double the scares of this kind of genre! I hope reanimal becomes a series of games as well.
Damn. I didn't realise there was this much of a divide going on just because the two games marketed themselves differently. It's clear LN3 wants to keep the biggest setpieces and monsters a surprise whilst ReAnimal is all about being explicit with its new themes and story, its as simple as that. Neither are better than the other, it's just marketing. Calm the heck down people.
I actually made a reddit post about this, its honestly deeply upsetting to say that Reanimal is the "new Little Nightmares" or the "Better Little Nightmares!" It isn't, I love how LN3 looks and im excited to go through the new environments but some people just trash on new creators because its different. The FNaF community is actually a similar thing to this tbh

There are wonderful people in the Little Nightmares, and toxic people. And unfortunately, the toxic people are loudest. Myself and the friends that I made in the community are just happy to have two cool looking games! 😹
both are good but Reanimal looks way better it feels more like Little Nightmare but we wont know till both come out.
I think it's because they trust Tarsier to make a better game since they were the original creators. They might not have that much faith in Supermassive Games making the 3rd game but honestly they should. TARSIER LITERALLY TRUSTED THEM TO TAKE OVER THE FRANCHISE AFTER THEY MOVE AWAY FROM IT.
So basically, it's a repeat of the Godzilla x Kong vs. Godzilla Minus One debate again, only with horror games affiliated with Tarsier Studios, gotcha.

I'm just excited we're getting more of these more creepy atmosphere games that don't rely on jump scares for most there horror I'm happy we're getting two of these types of games

Both games look great so I’m gonna get both. It was the new studio that was behind The Sound of Nightmares podcast I’m sure, which was amazing, so I trust them with little nightmares 3
I agree with you. Even if the LN 3 trailer had less stuff in it compared to reanimal. That sould not really be a good reason to just hate on LN 3. So far LN 3 is looking good, and even if we dont get showed mutch by the trailer. I still belive the game is in good hands.
