  • LISMORE HEIGHTS NEW RELEASE 🔥 Ngalii naa Jagun Daa/This is our Land, Ngalii Janabi Nyubani/This is our mob - Take the journey from Baabaara sky and Mibayn eyes through raindrops forming rainbows over mountains, down through the waterways and into the sea. Feel a deeper connection to the land and it's mugal, bugal, nugal naa and jugal (naughty, nice, cheeky and heart) totems and inhabitants as they playfully reveal the secrets of this stunning #bundjalungcountry. Watch and delight as Uncle Gilbert Laurie grounds these @Lismore Heights jarjums with deep roots of language, culture and stories. Snake stole venom from goanna and we learn through this wonderful song all the wisdom that followed as these talented students invest their spirit and passion to work together and overcome the challenges that they each must face together to reach for a brighter and more integrated future 🔥
Huge kudos to Belinda Smith, Mark Scotton and Katherine Kolarik who helped create this opportunity for the jarjums of Lismore Heights Public School to work with One Vision Productions. Massive gratitude goes to Uncle Gilbert Laurie, whose endless generosity lifted this project to the heights you see glowing in the faces of the students. Props to the One Vision all-star facilitators and crew: Rangimarie Ferguson Napanangka, Rosie MissChief, The boy of many colors aka Coedie McCarthy, Mattriks Motion aka Matthew Storen, Andy Bowles, Chris Liddell at The Music Film Studio, Andy Jans-Brown and OneVIsion director, Mark Robertson.
