Hello. I bought a Waterman Ideal Le Man 200 rhapsody velvet blue in the 1990s. It's a fountain pen that I really like. The ring of my fountain pen is also corroded by ink. Fortunately, there are no holes or chips, so I can use it without any problems.

Fantastic top end pen. I'm having a bit of a Waterman moment myself, but it's mostly the English models. But Waterman can't half make a great writer!

Thanks for sharing. It is a common flaw with these pens however if you can live with it i dont think it will effect the useage. Enjoy the pen.
