Every group that debut or have comeback, they will do the promotion for 2 weeks or more in music shows, and The Show is one of the regular show in South Korea TV. (There's also Music Bank, Music Core, Inkigayo, Show Champion, M Countdown, from different TV channels.) The winner for every week (chart no 1) will get the thropy, and this is a big thing for every group/soloist/duo in SK. If you get the trophy, that means your reputation increases, and they will pay you more (and you can get many contracts to do too, like photoshoot, BA, ads and more) also it's easier for them to do more promotion for their next comeback because it's like a battle field in the Music Show, many artists debut and make a comeback but only some who can join the lineup in the show. Especially for the new groups from small companies, it's really hard for them to be the lineup in music show (also they need to pay to perform and it's sooo expensive)
+sometimes they sing it Live with their mic ON, sometimes pre-record or lipsynch. But they need to do it more than one time. Rehearsal, fancam/fullcam and live stage. That's why they record it from morning till evening. They are really serious about it.
