Thanks for your reply, Checking vibrate is one of the first things I checked. I searched Google after posting my question here. I ended up on a blog for Uber drivers. There I found someone else who had the same problem. He had his phone plugged into a USB port built into the car. He changed getting the phone power to the Cigarette lighter instead and the problem went away. I am going to try that today.
Awesome let me know if that works. I know If you have your phone plugged into the built in USB port it will only work if you are playing the music from your phone onto your car. If you are playing the radio you won't here your phone. I have had this issue before and plugging the phone into the cigarette lighter does work!
Showing the people that are driving with Uber or Lyft. There are more opportunities to make money with Lyft. Uber probably has more business as a driver, but Lyft has the better referral program.

That way we can maximize our earnings by referring people. it's not right that people go on the app with a code only to find out they don't need the code. We're referring people for nothing. At least in Los Angeles County that's the way it is

You refer the driver but you never get paid for referring them. Because Lyft gives them a free ride anyways without your code.
I never had that problem before. Did they download it straight from the app or google play store? If they download the app through some special link off an advertisement or website. The code will automatically be entered into their app.
Question: Where does one go to fine out if it's legal to "street team" in a particular area?

Do you have the phone on vibrate? That might fix the problem.
