my friends dad is the reason i have never smoked because in 5th grade my friend asked him if we could try his cigarettes and he said sure. 1 puff and i thought i was going to die right there and that was it, no more smoking for me. i had the panasonic portable cd player instead of discman though. was probably cheaper. i played the 1 cd i had so much i wore the damn cd out. the offsrping, smash. still love that album and have the replacement cd i bought after wearing the first one out.
Smash was a no skip CD for me in HS. After that, they lost me and went commercial.

My very first car was a AMC Spirit. It didn't have a horn so it wouldn't pass inspection so my dad wired it and I had a house door bell button on it.😂😂😂
When CD's came out? Mind blown lol. I don't have to fast forward and rewind to find the song?? OMG!! lol. But a year later when portable CD players came out?? An even bigger explosion between my 4th grade ears. Then again I referred to the brand new invention called a "microwave" as a science oven haha. That was in Kindergarten. Popcorn no longer off the stove top and hot chocolate in 60 seconds? Bro I was in heaven. Pretty funny with my 2023 glasses on. edit-I buy how wild Nova was. She throws a serious right hand during that line in the song. Listened to a ton of her stuff and she legit seems like the type who if she felt threatened she'd put a blade thru your neck.
