Doors fans have been complaining too much recently. The Doors Floor 2 update was almost perfect but people seem to complain about everything.

Exploiter content creators like Kardin Hong make it die quickly and create unhealthy communities.
Even because of that, many players end up loving exploiters more than speedrunners themselves.
Like, bro, Kardin Hong reaches the highest views for every 'gimmick' speedrun, with :
3.5M views on Floor 1;
3.2M views on Floor 1 hotel update;
570K views on Floor 2.
Now let's compare that with the speedrunner "Spondos", who has only :
407K views on the Floor 1 hotel update
211K views (in 24;49) and 119K views (in 24;15) on Floor 2.
And some other speedrunners, like Greuceanu, have an average of no more than 10K views, and there is a lot of "trial and error" in trying to break the world record in each livestream.
Even that doesn't make sense if the communities are still healthy.
These players need to realize there are more players than speedrunners
the speedrunners really need to understand that the game does not revolve around them

Well speedruns are popular mrnibbles has 9.4 million views on a doors speedrun along with Spondos and Greece getting good views on speedruns and getting people interesting in doors speedruns the players just wanted to talk to the devs about it as speedrunners found the glitch anyways.

Bro, before the nerf i couldnt even get to door 140, i was just spammed with giggles, eyes, and screechs every second, and door 150 maze is away too big, is even harder than door 200, the update was cool, but it still always have space to improve
I beat doors floor 2 like so many times, but there is now invisible blocks in door 150 and door 200. You can no longer use this shortcut in door 150
You should've expected the shortcut on 150 to be patched. It wasn't intended at all and was just a building oversight

I’m sighing so loudly, I don’t know if this topic was discussed because I just clicked on the video but I believe they removed the feature where modifiers carry over to floor two and they added invisible walls on door 200 on most good shortcuts

Can people stop yapping about speedruning? Its isnt fun most of the time cuz you just fail and fail, its only fun when the rng is right and you didnt mess everything up, why are they acting like the only reason the game was alive is cuz of speedruners.
That’s not what they said they said that it helps the game gain more long term players most speedrunners have been playing since the start of the game and still play consistently till now the community is also pretty big and doors is one of the most largest speed-running games 100s of 1000s of people daily also the speed runs get a lot of views such as Mrnibbles who has 9.4 million views on a doors speedrun along with Spondos will 300k and 100k on average on his videos of speedrunning doors.
I'm split on the drama, on one hand, the 200 seek boss is now harder than before. But I would be fine with it if the devs made it easier to get back on the floating platforms after being knocked off. As for the 150 glitch, it was very niche and you had to get that one SPECIFIC B anchor location to get it. You couldn't even get to the other side of the barrier on that side due to there not being a minecart there.
The devs shouldnt be hated, they just need to nerf the difficulty. Giggles suck in dark room, and not always can you check the ceiling. The fact screech can appear anywhere, the seek worms being so unpredictable, etc.

For giggle, if you search for shears and vine chests, you should have a bulk light early enough.
For screech, skill issue, serious WHAT is y’all’s problem with screech?
For the seek worm, it literally just spawns in a spot it thinks you’re going to, so just don’t run in a straight line (impossible challenge)!
@@Megajaybreaker4 i never said screech was hard, screech just gets old and annoying after door 20. The seek worms, usually you dont have enough time to react, because you are paying attention to other stuff during it. The bulk part is JUST rng and random or friend teammates will probably just take the bulks anyway.
@@iamtheonewhoslaps then you probably just need to take it sloooow on the final boss. The only other things are hands and blobs, if those distract you so much that you can’t see the giant red beacon of light, then maybe I’m just better at multitasking than I thought.
Do agree on the rng part for the most part, but I’m pretty sure it’s like a 90% chance that it’ll be a bulk light. since one bulk lights up a whole room for the most part, that’s just a bad team player at that point.
Try and get as many light sources as possible I’d recommend getting the bulk light to get giggle on dark rooms.
Btw I think the devs forgot that dupe can spawn in the greenhouse

What they could do is add legacy modes into the modifiers which would not allow progress or rifts but would instead provide a timer for more accurate times for everyone and also allow the older room generations to come back but also allow more glitches

Well remember in og doors their was a skip to run past figure in door 100 and that never got patched for over 6+ months so why did the devs patch these skips even though skips in the past were bugs but they didn’t get removed? Also speedrunning is not small check Mr nibbles video with over 9.4 mill views also kreekcraft has speedrunned doors also.
Tbf the room 200 wrap arounds are absolutely something that should be patched. It removes the challenge and any shmuck can do it(including myself)

Well they took multiple weeks to fix they should of fixed it early also how did they not think of just jumping around the rocks it seems like a glitch that shouldn’t of even made it past testing I think it’s fair to get rid of the 150 bug but theirs not really a reason to patch the 200 bug.

Nah it’s not fair as remember in og doors their was a skip to run past the figure in door 100 they never patched that and they never patched a lot of bugs in the game like the half bug where you can go on the side of the room it took them almost a year before they fixed that bug but now they just decided to start fixing bugs for no reason to screw up speedrunners even though they haven’t before.
I hate how they made it to where modifiers cant be used in floor 2 anymore >:( but overall theyve worked so hard i think i can handle it.

Well they patched this glitch specifically because of speedrunners and it basically screwed them over their just trying to get them to revert the change.

@@Slushiegames1 speedrunners found the glitch a couple of days after the update came out they were the first ones to find the glitch lsplash must of watched the speedruns and found the glitch through and decided to patch mainly even though speedrunners use it
its as simple as making a speedrunner modifier that just unfixes all the glitches but gives less knobs as conpinsation for things being easier

These glitches needed to be fixed, but the Community dont understand that, LSplash just want to make the game better and more enjoyable, also for those who say Floor 2 is "WAY TOO DIFFICULT", it can be a little hard but as you understand everything it will be as simple as the Hotel, which had the same complaints when Hotel+ released, but soon everyone forgot about it because they understood, i hope players get trough the Mines difficulty too.

Such as the bug where you could run past the figure on door 100 in og doors that bug was around for over 6 months also all the bugs with figure getting stuck in the hotel plus never got fixed along with halt bugs where you could hug the side and not take damage they seem to be fixing bugs just to target speedruns now,

Here's an easy solution: ADD A SPEEDRUN AREA IN THE LOBBY. It allows you to do any floor. You can also enable this setting in the create elevator menu. +1 like means +1 person wants this to be added. (I AM NOT A LIKE BEGGAR)

I think that making the game less speed-run-able made it feel more emersive. In door 50 you know what you’re doing but door 150 might be annoying, but it is different everytime. I think the previous versions of the hotel should be available for speed runners but I think that would be impossible.

They should make a modifer for speed running sending the speed runners to the old versions of mines after the patch but before they fixed the bugs from door 200 like how they are able to keep old forms of doors like the april fools 2023 event from last year and I think this would be a useful way to keep everyone happy :)

Most speedrunner are fine with the 150 bug being fixed but they don’t like the 200 thing being fixed it doesn’t even look like glitch and it shouldn’t of even made it into the the full version of floor 2 even then lsplash shouldn’t of took so long to fix it.

I personally don't like the "Doors Floor 2" update due to the lack of new content provided.
The only reason I was actually excited for the new update was for the new entities that we thought we would be getting. it would've honestly been great for a big number of new entities to replace the og ones specifically for floor 2 as my first experience the floor 1 entities was really good and I wish that I would've had that same experience with floor 2, but instead we got the same entities from floor 1, and then 3 new ones that have very small mechanics. If they maybe instead decided to replace all of the floor 1 entities in floor 2, then it would've been an entirely new experience that I would've loved, but instead they kept it all the same and the main thing it really seemed like they actually cared about for the floor 2 update was just the map, and the difficulty which is probably why nobody is a fan of any of the entities added to floor 2.

there clearly is only 3 new entities, then the additional ones are the floor 1 entities, and the entities were the big reason most people were excited for the update.
also how can I still be happy with how the game is if I've already lost all my interest in it? the standard game is still good but the floor 2 update didn't bring anything necessarily new that I'd have any interest in which is why I'm not happy with it.

I hope those people read the comments of this video and realize how ungrateful their being. You do not get angry at the devs when they patch out easy and exploitable glitches such as the rock jumping glitch. You do not complain when a new area they release isn't quite balanced completely from launch. You do not throw a fit when they try to make the game better for the ENTIRETY of the community instead of just speedrunners.

Well they didn’t fix speedrun glitches in the past such as the figure skip in door 100 in doors (before hotel+) for a long amount of time speedruns use a a lot of glitches that never actually got patched but now the devs are patching all the speedrun glitches in floor 2 even though they won’t fix glitches like figure getting stuck basically any time I play or 😂 and I had rush rebound and kill me multiple times lol😂 also speedruns are very popular such as mr nibble getting over 9millon views on a speedrun along with kreekcraft speedrunning the mines update in 30 mins also Spondos gets a lot of views on speedruns.
