I saw a legendary firefight and it seems that, after quite a few waves of enemies, if the warthog is kept alive, it will become seemingly indestructible at the end of the rounds. Plasma grenades, rockets, it can survive alot. I was wondering just how much punishment could it take if it managed to live the longest (from beginning to past the achievement for 4 player coop on legendary) and how many spartan laser shots it would sustain.

However, what I was referring to as 10 years in the making was the original time travel video I uploaded almost 10 years ago. It ended with us being unable to finish the mission, but now I've completed the method and we can indeed finish the mission. The crashing phantom is just a side effect that may or may not have already been done by others with other methods.
Other speedrunners back in the day were also exploring the time travel method to see if it could lead to completing the game easier on SLASO and legendary. Fair enough that it took you 10 years to complete, but others in the tricking community have known this for awhile now. It's the reason getting under the elevator was possible too. I like that you are documenting these tricks since mythica took down a bulk of the beginning of Halo 3's life content. I just wanted the facts sorted out is all. Hell even I did this by accident weeks ago when exploring how to get into the Snow Room.
