Thank you for the answers ❤ I'm noobie on violin making and I actually don't even understand much about music. But fortunately I've been working with wood some time. Your chanel is diamond guys like me who are walking this road without mentor!
Glad you find this useful! Thanks.
Greetings from Tucson, Arizona. I'm working on my first violin build. I haven't cut or glued on the rib blocks yet. What are your thoughts on rib height, rib taper, and glue block height? I learn a lot from your Q & A videos. Thanks for all that you do.
I always do mine at 30mm, no taper. I'll chat through this and explain my thinking in my next Q&A. Good question.
Hi Graham. Once in place Would it be a good idea to pop a drop of super glue on each end of the sound post could be done with an adapted syringe maybe
Your bass bar clamps are pretty neat.... adjustable clamping pressure!!

I must remember to bring you some sheep bands when I see you. I have 2 sets, the orange ones are better than the green, I won't use the green, they are knocking around in my car, remind me when I see you.
That'd be great, I'll pay you for them. I do get through a lot of elastic bands!!
@@grahamvincentviolins no need, they are only going to get chucked if I eventually get around to cleaning my car out, they are pennies anyway :-)
