Good Clay is from Fimo. But it´s expensive. And I'm from Germany.
You can find diy clay. The best clay is from Japan. I've never used it, though. You can even use air dry clay, you just have to be more careful, because it sinks a little when it dries.
My air dry clay shrinks not a little. It shrinks 30% of the original size. But I guess it is okay. I can live with it, because it is very cheap.
