I never believed in Blizzard's usual "you're better than you think!" bullshit, but after playing this brawl, I actually believe I'm in the top 1% of players, my rank actually doesn't lie. Astounding! But also kind of sad.
agreed, won my 1st three games before I discovered the Gargoyle play. Brann was fun because you get double battlecry the whole game. If you're patient & buff the right minion at the right time, any minion will do
+AlexadoFeel why is it a big deal... If you get it to 60 60 you cant lose because it heals to full every start of turn compared to other heals how many upgraded heals on both heroes you need to heal the 30 damage aoe?
like the one kripp made in the first game killing off his 12\12 gargoyle, that would otherwise survive the 30 damage, the reason why priest gave up cause of that retarded play kripp made lol.
+Thatedvardguy You don't always need to attack with minions , there are times when holding back is the best strategy , you're probably the "TheQ" guy in the video ;)
> Criticizes opponent for buffing the worst minion on the board. >Next turn he fails himself by playing Justicar as a Shaman. Perhaps it was a mistake... But these games got really hard when you had to play against not only the Boss, but also your partner...
Yeah, there was no way that play ever mattered, since they were never in danger of losing hp before running out of win conditions, and his partner threw all the health buffs. The totems might have ended up being more useful just for drawing those 3 cards.
making one mistake by mixing up a 6 mana 6 attack minion that says hero power on it with another one is not the same as repeatedly making shittier and shittier plays as the game goes on. theq was terribly and honestly i want his battletag so i can spectate him playing real games
Wrong, rank 25 players can climb the ladder better than most, they don't lose stars. Literally the only thing they CAN do, is climb the ladder. At least to 20.
My experience with this brawl: enter the game, find a match, play some cards with some synergies, get surprised by the 30 dmg aoe and then win the game. Seriously Kripp, its not that hard, you don't need to combo or have any win condition, the people you were playing with were correct, you were the dumb one for not attacking. All you need to do in this brawl is play cards and attack until it gets to 0, no need for that saving shit.
But you can't rebuild the board and win against the Thrid Phase of the fight if you've used up all your hand and deck only to get them killed by the 30dmg AOE. Just look at the first game. You've gotta save *some* cards if you can't buff a win condition minion out of the 30dmg range
Literally this. I had no idea what I was doing and neither did my partner. We won either way on presumably what was both our first experiences of the brawl.
i won simply by playing justicar as priest, my partner then used the get opponent's hero power minion and we just out healed him, we didn't play around the 30 dmg aoe at all tbh
It's just about as viable as Lightbane and Gargoyle, except Lightbane is easily shielded from the stage changes and Gargoyle is impossible to kill. Keep in mind you only have a total of 60 cards to play with, and you're probably somewhere about 10-20 cards in when you put it into play. It's one of those cards that looks more lucrative than it really is in this brawl. But it does work. Better than buffing a 0/2 minion with Windfury.
the very first game i played i played that minion, my opponent converted it, and then i put ancestral spirit on both of them. game was pretty much a cakewalk from there
If the player that doesn't have the Gargoyle in play triggers the 30 damage aoe, it does not matter how much HP the Gargoyle has. It will restore to full AFTER the AOE always. Important to know if your opponent sucks and cant wait too buff the minion above 30.
Found a fun win condition: fill your side of the board. Nefarian blows up when you pass the turn at that point. I only just did it because Wobbling Runts got popped between turns and filled the open slots.
My first go with this was incredible. We were doing pretty well, getting him down at a steady rate, having one big minion (usually the five mana 3/3s, not the gargoyles) we'd both be working towards buffing, being careful but not too careful as we went from phase to phase, figuring it out as we went along. When it got to the third phase though, it was getting pretty rough, trying to keep our things alive through the ten missiles each turn, but we were hanging on, until eventually, both our decks ran out of cards. Not long after, our hands ran empty, too, until all that was left on the board was a 5/5 corrupted Mukla, nothing else, just as we got him down to five health. The turn passes over, and he does the attack just to the heroes, no random missiles or cleaves, and Mukla, the very last minion, the very last card, from either of us, gets the killing blow.
Even in the cooperative tavernbrawl the other player is still your biggest enemy :) Learned that when I tried to play with a priest that only healed his face and never his minions.
Secret way to win, if you have a wobbling runt that dies from one of Nefarian attacks and algo puts the max of 7 minions in your side of the field, Nefarian will not be able to move thus killing itself.
I was annoyed that your first clip wasn't your first game where you didn't know what you were doing either, BUT your clip ended up winning me over so kudos.
I think it happens because Nefarian switches sides again and forces him to have 8 minions at the same time. That somehow seems to crash his whole board.
You can't have 7 minions on board because there is no room for Nefarian. So if we get 7 at the end of your turn, it wipes. I found out the hard way too :(
One good thing about this having MMR , it appears this tavern brawl can acutally increase in difficulty as you win more. Like the more i play this and win, the more of those explosive eggs he summons, the more times my hand switches, the more of those "Deal X damage to both heros" happen. etc etc. It becomes less random and it really begins to push you into situations to counter what he is doing. Again not incredibly hard but if there is an increase in difficulty then its a very nice touch to make this tavern brawl last long into the weekend
What if you play the Rais Healer and Nefarian swaps your hands and the other Player plays convert to play one as well?Is this an endless loop if you heal then?
Oh my fucking god, just attack with the goddamn minions, you don't need such a constructed strategy, this boss ain't that hard to beat, I would concede too, if my opponent just skipped turns...
Kripp was acting like it was the hardest boss ever and like he needed some perfect strategies in order to defeat him, you only need to atack with all your minions to win its nearly impossible to loss unless youre kripp and decide not to atack when you can then youre teammate thinks youre a noob and decides to concede
+archaicScrivener How? Did you get Nefarian's hp to 60 really fast, so you had a lot of cards left to kill him with? Because it's pretty difficult to kill a 10/90 if both have just a few cards left And the second game he conceded, I guess he was just too pissed/tired of the opponent sabotaging him that he didn't want him to win
I found that in this brawl, you basically need a total of 2 buffed minions. I mean I didn't realise Stoneskin Gargoyle would be the best buffing target till you mentioned it (granted I'm not a great HS player), and I haven't lost against Nefarian so far. Granted, none of my opponents made such spectacular misplays, so the MMR is probably involved in some way. I did run into a few opponents that were so eager to give me card draw that I ended up milling 2-3 cards, but it worked out in the end. I haven't run into anyone who conceded though. As long as both players are buffing the same minion, it should turn out alright. In one brawl I was buffing my opponent's Pagle, and in another I was buffing their Raid Healer. Intrepid Dragonstalker also plays a key role since it buffs naturally. Just playing devil's advocate here, but maybe your opponent didnt make the connection with Stoneskin Gargoyle like you did. When you started buffing a seemingly weak minion rather than the minion with a higher attack, they figured that you didn't want to/didnt know how to play and both of you were only in it for yourselves, so at that point, they started using their cards to buff only their own minions.
btw when nefarian uses the shaman power he pretty much uses elemental destruction which makes sense so where did heal 30 health and deal 30 damage to all other minions come from because i have never seen that in priest
I... have no idea what I just watched. He mentioned something about mmr early on and considering how I joined earlier this summer I don't know the intricacies of this game's, but this was still quite the spectacle because of the choices his teammate was pulling. I had some allies that were clearly better than others, but things still hardly looked this bad without someone admitting a mistake. I played this Tavern Brawl about 12 times and won every one (barring 1 ally conceding out of a negligible embarrassment). Sometimes it was Stoneskin Gargoyle, but other times it was an Intrepid Dragonstalker, a Dragonscale Warrior (almost had both deck out), and even an Arcane Golem. There were multiple instances where nothing survived his 30 damage blast, and instances where one player would run out of cards and we still pulled through.
Win condition for this: Wobbling runts, cast ancestral spirit on it, get 1-2 other minions on the board, and get it to 1 health. Nefarian will ping it, fill the board, he has no where to go, he dies with 100+ health.
The game checks to see if the board is full, if it is, he clears it. If it isnt, he chooses a random attack, thus pinging the minion, filling the board, and he dies. I've done it multiple times, when my partner doesnt fuck it up, works, and is way faster than killing him.
I recently had a game where I had one of the Dragonslayers out with only a mere 14/14 in stats, but I had so many buffing cards. Although I almost cried when I got bamboozled, the other player hit that dragonslayer with both of my Ancestral spirits and a power word: tentacles just like I wanted them to. I have never crushed the "Thanks" and "Well Played" emote in my life
For me it was insane buffing of stoneskin gargoyle (including windfury) and a bunch of smaller minions being buffed by the guy who gives all other minions +2/+2, with brann on the board.
My favourite thing about this brawl is the Raid Healer combo. If you get 2 of them for each player, anytime one of you is healed you both get healed for full. FREE RENO!
Another note with Freewheeling If you have a board of 7, which goes down to 6 because Freewheeling switches sides, your board will still be cleared anyways.
i dont know how to strategize for this tavern brawl can someone also explain to me why this "TheQ" guy is apparently playing badly? what's he doing wrong
Kripp actually misplayed in the first clip with TheQ. By putting ancestral spirit on the Cairne prevented the Kripp's stoneskin gargoyle from surviving the 30 dmg aoe. The order is aoe, gargoyle takes 30 dmg, then gets healed for 30 afterwards. But by having too many minions respawn off of deathrattles, it prevented gargoyle from healing back up, losing the win condition the priest had been building up. Thats why the priest RQ'd
Basically there aren't actually any true win conditions other than to not overextend yourself and use a big minion to smack down nefarian. As long as you continue to do dmg and don't lose minions too fast - which are both just the normal win conditions of play - you can win just playing the usual way, especially without the risk of any surprise heavy minion removal. However the conditions that krip talked about are the EASY, win conditions. Gargoyle is the easiest as you can use that one minion throughout without worrying much about keeping it healed up enough to survive dealing dmg and the two board clears.
Fun fact for those who don't check the Hearthstone reddit: If Nefarian kills a Wobbling Runts with his attacks and it ends up filling the board he's going to switch over to, it instantly kills him, regardless of what stage he's in.
I didn't use the gargoyle once in fact I think I've had people get pissed at me for some of the hands I played in it but I always have a plan... your matches were insane. Krip we need to tavern brawl sometime xD
If your opponent hits Nefarian to 160 or 60 hp and you have a gargoyle, then Nefarian will cast its AOE, the gargoyle will go down below 0 hp, but then it heals itself up to full hp. So if at 14:25 Kripp waits for the other player to hit it down to 60 and instead buffs his gargo, they could have win :)
I still don't understand all the rage about bad teammates in that brawl. It's winnable even with players not being aware of Nefarian's tricks. One of my partners cast Ancestral Spirit on the explosive rune on my side of the field and then milled my Inner Fire, and Nefarian still lost.
In this tavern brawl is a bug with the stoneskin gargoyle If you have a gargoyle on your side and your friend/opponent gets nefarian to 60 health (where he does his 30 damage to all minion thing) the gargoyle gets 30 damage and instantly heals to full health, and he stays alive even he has less than 30 health.
Best play ive seen this brawl: Inner fire a 6 health brand while ive a already buffed gargoyle with windfury. He then continued the whole game long to buff his own minions instead of the gargoyle, im talking about every sjngle buff in his deck expect the one i luckly got from start. Logic is really rare.
If your opponent is the one to trigger the 3rd phase the gargoyle survives regardless of the health because it heals after Nefarian's damage, so it's not wrong to start buffing it late.
My first Tavern Brawl I made a 68/68 Fjola Lightbane, second I made an even bigger 45/150 Intrepid Dragonstalker with Windfury. Both games I played Priest.
my gargoyle somehow survived the 30 damage aoe, i guess it somehow healed from -26 to 4 hp. I think because it was the other guy's turn when Nefarian hit 60
M.atch M.aking R.ating The more you win the more you have The more you lose the less you have You will get paired with people with almost if not the same mmr So if you are on a losing streak you will get paired with an unfortunate opponent like you Same goes for winning *This applies to multiple online games*
Mmr=matchmaking rating, basically it measures your skill in comparison with other players and the game tries to match you with equally skilled players based on that number. Winning increases your mmr while losing decreases it.
He basically plays with people on the same rank as him. If that makes any sense. MMR gives you a skill rating of some sort on your acount. (It's hidden)
ok honestly im really confused right now... as i played with a friend and got nefarian to 60 hp he didnt just do 30 dmg to our minions and healed for 30, he silenced the whole board before as well, so our 54-54 fjola was back to a 3-4 and then got the 30 dmg which obviously cleared our whole board since the deathrattles were silenced as well. we still got other minions up and were able to win the game in the end but that this didnt happen as kripp played really freaks me out anyone knows what happened? my friend and a guy spectating us were confused as well since this isnt written in the "twisted light" spell he uses at that point
On a hunch found an exploit with raid healer and convert. If both players have a raid healer out, the effect keeps triggering until one of them is at full health.
I'm in the UK, and haven't had a single problem with this boss, i've played it 5 times and won each time, each partner being kind, an smart. I honestly don't know why everyone is complaining, maybe NA partners?
when we filled one side of the board with 7 minions, that Nef guy just destroyed himself. like, oops sorry Nef, no room for ya, so... go home. was that glitch? or did you counter that weird win condition too?
I just had a game where I got all the priest buff cards immediately and then when the hands swaped and the gargoyle was in hand and my teammate buffed the arcane golem with EVERYTHING.
krip actually misplayed in the first game, the other player was trying to trigger the board clear at 60 health during his turn so that the stoneskin can survive. But krip triggered it during his turn so the board clear killed his stoneskin and he got sad and conceded
fun thing happened to me. when there are 7 minions at one side and he switches he takes 1000 damage and dies. did this happened to anybody else? i thought kripp will mention it.
The first time I played I didn't know about the phases and I was the one triggering them in the worste way imaginable. I threw down Leeroy into Bloodlust for what I thought was lethal damage. I attacked with one of my 7 minions, then he went back up to 90 and killed everything we had. We still won at the end, but damn, it must have been infuriating for the other guy. If you're reading this... I'm sorry man.
Some of those games you conceded could have been won so easily. Conceding probably tilted your team mates so hard it had a ripple effect on everyone playing this brawl
I guess I was lucky. Only once I was paired with someone who waste all my sweet buffs when Nefarian switched our hands. I still won that one by pushing the boss to last phase and then playing and buffing a Raid Healer.
9 out of 10 players I met this week when playing brawl were like those Kripp met... If my cat played with me instead of that random noob, I would win every game
This brawl has no hard removal (aka random assasinate akin to the previous brawl) thus a win condition is very easy to develop. Especially with cards like gargoyle. The gargoyle is literally invincible once it's buffed enough (>30 health)
protip: if you have a gargoyle and the opponent activates nefarian phase, your gargoyle can't die, it will heal from death, since it happens at the start of the turn at the "same time" as the damage from nefarian.
Wtf are you waiting for in the first game. Why not to hit him for 14 with the doomsayer? Oh, I know, he had only 22 health, it would be a distaster if he loses 10... I didn't have any strategy, I just kept hitting him with every minion that didn't die upon hit and so did the other player and we won just fine. I don't think you have to save minions. I can't imagine how you can lose in this Tavern Brawl. He has no way to harm you. I just don't get it. Sorry.
Oh and you just concede it the next two games. Because you HAVE to buff some shit to 50/50 before attacking, sure. There is no other win condition like slowly take his life away. This video is so stupid.
I was thinking the same thing. I won this first time super easy without buffing some certain minion to high hell. He made poor choices not to attack and use his buff spells until he had some combo. Then when he didn't get it, he just conceded? He deserved to be trolled tbh.
Every single time I had a partner attack after nefarion buffs to 5 atk they were instantly punished by the 5 random dmg at end of turn. Twice we had someone deck out and once died to fatigue since they blew through deck before the board clear and just heroed and passed the rest of the game. So you can definitely be dumb in this brawl. I never had a super buffed minion to win either though- I just held back til after the board wipe.
I disagree with the statement that only a selected few minions work for buffing. Almost any minion can be buffed to win the game. I had multiple occasions where the giant dude was the gnome that switches sides every turn, and in one game, we even managed to win by buffing Northshire Cleric. It mostly comes down to putting static health buffs (Tentacles, Velen's, etc.) before divine spirit. It's really not that hard to keep that giant dude alive between all the healing spells and Justicar healing power on both heroes.
I never believed in Blizzard's usual "you're better than you think!" bullshit, but after playing this brawl, I actually believe I'm in the top 1% of players, my rank actually doesn't lie. Astounding! But also kind of sad.
I beat nefarian a few times and never needed Gargoyle, there a so many win conditions
agreed, won my 1st three games before I discovered the Gargoyle play. Brann was fun because you get double battlecry the whole game. If you're patient & buff the right minion at the right time, any minion will do
+AlexadoFeel nef can only do four damage directly so if you buff it once it will most of the time stay alive.
+AlexadoFeel why is it a big deal... If you get it to 60 60 you cant lose because it heals to full every start of turn compared to other heals how many upgraded heals on both heroes you need to heal the 30 damage aoe?
Same with me :D
Yup I got gargoyle to over 150 health with windfury it was basically GG
I was just surprised my opponent was smart enough to help make a 55/55 gargoyle with windfurry
Im surprised there are so many stupid people that dont attack with minions...
+Thatedvardguy they might want bodies to soak damage if it's late game
like the one kripp made in the first game killing off his 12\12 gargoyle, that would otherwise survive the 30 damage, the reason why priest gave up cause of that retarded play kripp made lol.
+Thatedvardguy
You don't always need to attack with minions , there are times when holding back is the best strategy , you're probably the "TheQ" guy in the video ;)
+Thatedvardguy sometimes you shouldn't attack, in this brawl..
> Criticizes opponent for buffing the worst minion on the board.
>Next turn he fails himself by playing Justicar as a Shaman.
Perhaps it was a mistake... But these games got really hard when you had to play against not only the Boss, but also your partner...
He did say that he though it was sideshow spelleater instead of justicar , so yes it was a mistake.
Yeah, there was no way that play ever mattered, since they were never in danger of losing hp before running out of win conditions, and his partner threw all the health buffs. The totems might have ended up being more useful just for drawing those 3 cards.
You only need to buff the Gargoyle to 31/10 and you win, every other card is just filler

Tarantel666 If you play in moonrunes is the other way
I'm early let me tell a joke,
How many rank 25 player does it take to change a lightbulb
None they can't climb the ladder
hehe :)
Don't worry ill send Anduin Wrynn to help them!
...
Umm hello, are you guys still there? Anduin just called, he said he can't climb either...
I was stuck at 25 for 9 months :(
Wrong, rank 25 players can climb the ladder better than most, they don't lose stars. Literally the only thing they CAN do, is climb the ladder. At least to 20.

Sorry if I offended you

So true
Kripp used vegan logic. It's not very effective.

I recently added Kripperino to the end of my name, when I first made I forgot about it, I was not prepared.
Turns out its preeettty good
YOU WERE NOT PREAPARED. Shit i just relaised that i dont watch the video and just go down to the comments
But you're still not prepared for my Giant Feet.
out.
You were not prepared to use me correctly.

A giant a'alkir is what everyone looking for
And my Giant Feet is going to Stomp you
+Frost Gianterino Kripperino marry me?
This is great
Or should i say

gonna make you lose that divine shield and then we shall see your true nobocity

I think this might be the best Tavern Brawl yet
What happened at 24:05 ? The shamans board got destroyed but what did that? I didn't see any text
I'd like to know too
I think it happens because Nefarian switches sides again and forces him to have 8 minions at the same time. That somehow seems to crash his whole board.
+Sk0oma cheers
You can't have 7 minions on board because there is no room for Nefarian. So if we get 7 at the end of your turn, it wipes. I found out the hard way too :(

Kripp seems to be the only streamer that I've watched who's had trouble with this brawl.
That first game result was literally jaw-dropping.
What does kripp saids at 4:01 MMR? and what does it mean.
Kripp was acting like it was the hardest boss ever and like he needed some perfect strategies in order to defeat him, you only need to atack with all your minions to win its nearly impossible to loss unless youre kripp and decide not to atack when you can then youre teammate thinks youre a noob and decides to concede
you are so wrong it's unbelievable hahaha
At least someone gets it
Yeah Kripp was talking about how Stoneskin and Dragontracker are the "win conditions" lol, I won with fuckin Bolf and Bloodlust
Actually.... this brawl is pretty hard to lose if you don't just brainlessly run things into nefarion while he has attack.
+archaicScrivener How? Did you get Nefarian's hp to 60 really fast, so you had a lot of cards left to kill him with? Because it's pretty difficult to kill a 10/90 if both have just a few cards left

ROFLMAO.. my fave Kripp video of all time!
I just love how you can see Kripps pain from bad plays

Did they ever fix the wobbling runts bug? The instawin onem

There were multiple instances where nothing survived his 30 damage blast, and instances where one player would run out of cards and we still pulled through.
This was a pretty fun Brawl overall. Not much replay value, and once you know the formula it's pretty easy, but fun for the first couple/few runs.
At 24:08 how did all the other guys stuff die?
Win condition for this: Wobbling runts, cast ancestral spirit on it, get 1-2 other minions on the board, and get it to 1 health. Nefarian will ping it, fill the board, he has no where to go, he dies with 100+ health.
I think Nefarian clears you're board if its full so that is in no way a win condition...
It won't clear the board if he kills Wobbling runt with one of his attacks. he can only clear a full 7-minion board BEFORE attacking.
The game checks to see if the board is full, if it is, he clears it. If it isnt, he chooses a random attack, thus pinging the minion, filling the board, and he dies. I've done it multiple times, when my partner doesnt fuck it up, works, and is way faster than killing him.
The first guy was clearly tired after carrying the Krip for so long, so he decided to quit after all that carrying.
"Oh great, a co-op video, atleast he won't complain 24/7"
- Nevermind
My favourite thing about this brawl is the Raid Healer combo. If you get 2 of them for each player, anytime one of you is healed you both get healed for full. FREE RENO!
Another note with Freewheeling
If you have a board of 7, which goes down to 6 because Freewheeling switches sides, your board will still be cleared anyways.
i dont know how to strategize for this tavern brawl
can someone also explain to me why this "TheQ" guy is apparently playing badly? what's he doing wrong
greatest kripp video in a while :D
I can't wait for Prince Malchezaar Strikes back!
Welcome to Kripparrian, always say to play the game until the end, but always concedes when his opponent does a misplay kappa
Nefarianerino got nothing on me!
Sad you were there to set nefarians health to 15.
Alexstraszerina*
you ruined my favorite card
Why did the troll lost his whole board at 24:06?
Was wondering, like you know @Kripparrian that if Gargoyl takes 30dmg in the start of your turn it heals back up to full health even if he had -health
24:05 Why did all the minions die like that what the fuck? I thought it was a bug when that happened to me..
If u think ur teammate in HS is bad, play DotA xD
No, that's LoL.
BillyTheSillyWilly Good point.
Thanks for reminding me why I quit ^^
and award for cringiest comment of the day goes to...
Every MOBA games
+BillyTheSillyWilly It s the faith of every team game
I still don't understand all the rage about bad teammates in that brawl. It's winnable even with players not being aware of Nefarian's tricks. One of my partners cast Ancestral Spirit on the explosive rune on my side of the field and then milled my Inner Fire, and Nefarian still lost.
what does he mean by NMR for tavern brawls?
In this tavern brawl is a bug with the stoneskin gargoyle
If you have a gargoyle on your side and your friend/opponent gets nefarian to 60 health (where he does his 30 damage to all minion thing) the gargoyle gets 30 damage and instantly heals to full health, and he stays alive even he has less than 30 health.
not a bug
it's just how hearthstone works
similar to how you can survive the explosive trap with truesilver
DarkLord Gahramanov If a minion has 4 health and gets 30 damage and it is still alive, sorry but that's a bug for me
+mutzikatzi1 That's how hearthstone works, no bug.
TiMoN0908 doesnt make sense to me
+mutzikatzi1 go learn simple C++, scrub
Best play ive seen this brawl:
Inner fire a 6 health brand while ive
a already buffed gargoyle with windfury. He then continued the whole game long to buff his own minions instead of the gargoyle, im talking about every sjngle buff in his deck expect the one i luckly got from start.
Logic is really rare.
is a raid healer on both sides an infinite heal cycle??
Until someone is Full live (tested and its awesome)
+Dermaus Lp I was about to try that as well but Nefarion switches hands and blocked me from it, glad to know my theory was correct
I thought theres only 1 raid healer
+SkyFireYZ Yeah but if they switch hands when the priest has convert then the shaman can play it as well.
why do all his ally's minions die at 24:05?
If your opponent is the one to trigger the 3rd phase the gargoyle survives regardless of the health because it heals after Nefarian's damage, so it's not wrong to start buffing it late.
My first Tavern Brawl I made a 68/68 Fjola Lightbane, second I made an even bigger 45/150 Intrepid Dragonstalker with Windfury. Both games I played Priest.
Some minions don't work?
Me and my friend killed Nefarian with a 102/102 Searing Totem.
What minions, exactly, straight up don't work?
The trollest games I've ever seen. I almost thought the last guy would Concede before you had a chance to close it out.
What happend if your board is full? Nefarian cant be on it.
Only played this once, and won, every buff on that +1/+1 for every card you play on. Great card.
my gargoyle somehow survived the 30 damage aoe, i guess it somehow healed from -26 to 4 hp. I think because it was the other guy's turn when Nefarian hit 60
hum... can someone tell me what this "mmr" or whatever he said is?
match making rating. basically, the better you do, the better the players you get matched with
M.atch M.aking R.ating
The more you win the more you have
The more you lose the less you have
You will get paired with people with almost if not the same mmr
So if you are on a losing streak you will get paired with an unfortunate opponent like you
Same goes for winning
*This applies to multiple online games*
oh okay, thanks... I knew that's how it works, just never know how it's called xD thanks again!
What is MMR? He mentions it in the beginning.
08:15 "Dude, I have bananas in my hand."
I knew Kripp was Kappapride :^)
Sooo why did all of morgls minions die after he hero powered?
why does the guy loses his board on 24:06
They should have made me the boss oh EASY WIN BITCHES
Well atleast my Feet could get warmer if you're under it
Oh no, please don't make me face Ragnorino Kripperino!
should've made it the league of explorers
It would still be too soon
LOL
That last game was amazing to watch
Welcome to Hearthstone Krip.
that windfury totem cracked me up:')
ok honestly im really confused right now... as i played with a friend and got nefarian to 60 hp he didnt just do 30 dmg to our minions and healed for 30, he silenced the whole board before as well, so our 54-54 fjola was back to a 3-4 and then got the 30 dmg which obviously cleared our whole board since the deathrattles were silenced as well. we still got other minions up and were able to win the game in the end but that this didnt happen as kripp played really freaks me out
anyone knows what happened? my friend and a guy spectating us were confused as well since this isnt written in the "twisted light" spell he uses at that point
"I beat a sabotaged!" *beams proudly*
On a hunch found an exploit with raid healer and convert.
If both players have a raid healer out, the effect keeps triggering until one of them is at full health.
I'm in the UK, and haven't had a single problem with this boss, i've played it 5 times and won each time, each partner being kind, an smart. I honestly don't know why everyone is complaining, maybe NA partners?
I won this first time without using the combos Kripp insists on. He's just terrible.
Kye
Me too, although my teammate was also very bad. He was playing stuff to draw himself cards while in fatigue for instance.
when we filled one side of the board with 7 minions, that Nef guy just destroyed himself. like, oops sorry Nef, no room for ya, so... go home. was that glitch? or did you counter that weird win condition too?
Tonight, a tale... of two dragon slayers!
Kripp didn't even bother to mention that the decks were changed from the original release? Why?
fun thing happened to me. when there are 7 minions at one side and he switches he takes 1000 damage and dies. did this happened to anybody else? i thought kripp will mention it.
What if you convert neferian ?
I guess I was lucky. Only once I was paired with someone who waste all my sweet buffs when Nefarian switched our hands. I still won that one by pushing the boss to last phase and then playing and buffing a Raid Healer.
This is the first video actually had a good laugh about. Those terrible plays with Kripp commentary 😂
+Tom Scorpion this brawl was so easy, can't believe Kripp kept conceding for no reason
I was thinking the same thing. I won this first time super easy without buffing some certain minion to high hell. He made poor choices not to attack and use his buff spells until he had some combo. Then when he didn't get it, he just conceded? He deserved to be trolled tbh.
yep yep
Every single time I had a partner attack after nefarion buffs to 5 atk they were instantly punished by the 5 random dmg at end of turn. Twice we had someone deck out and once died to fatigue since they blew through deck before the board clear and just heroed and passed the rest of the game.
So you can definitely be dumb in this brawl. I never had a super buffed minion to win either though- I just held back til after the board wipe.
I've had amazing time with this tavern brawl. Although when you're at 4 wins and some idiot still doesn't know how the brawl works it gets frustrating
He had plenty of time to concede at the end there; he had a heart.
Kripps experience with this brawl was identical to mine. And I won 6 of them.
