Bobbalam for example bobbalam wasn't like yadiiig bobbalam wasn't educated into the old plug era like that nigga yadiiig was the shit bro wasn't one of them trend d riding UA-camrs he was really deep into the underground if you go back to his old 2016 - 2017 videos you'll see what I'm talking about.
Man i remember just being addicted to the plug sound, i loved that shit so much, majority of my songs on my phone was with plug producers or of the same type of sound.
These producers had such an impact to the sound we have today. As in the same way “Plug sound” was inspired by these ATL artists and producers. By the beats you picked for the video and topics it’s clear to say you know your shit.
It's becoming clearer that Diego was at the start of the scene...but even before him, the sound was around...Cartier God, Yung Gleesh, P2THEGOLDMA$K...even Migos with 'Bando' in 2012 but nobody was calling it "Plugg" and that's where Diego comes in...
i remember the first plug song i ever heard , Playboi carti - Black and white prod . PoloBoyShawty. it was new year’s day on 2016 i believe. fell inlove and downloaded FL studio that same day
bro i found this genre through carti leaks prod by beatpluggz (mostly just dro and some xool).. for some reason i liked it from the start and i’m not usually like that with rap. fye vid and keep it up
I’d say Dylvinci has the most talent out of all the producers named on this video, don’t get me wrong all these are very talented people but vinci had switched it up when it comes to drum patterns , melodie’s and just the ambience of the sound.
As a new gen I don’t think it’s the worst shits just stagnant like why listen to a nigga rapping on Summrs type beats when I could just listen to summrs
The best era of underground hip hop - those beats from dro are fucking incredible
For real
Diego money and rushhy bandxz was the first few rappers to use a plugg beat
la flexico wouldve been blown up already if he stayed out of jail
Word ! Free rushhy
Damn I miss Rushhy

imo plugg is the most refined subgenre of trap. in a good plugg beat, everything is so precise and well thought out, the drums especially.

Its crazy how this genre created so many other genres like pluggnb by xangang top 5 most influential underground waves frl
this was amazing bruv, only complaint is the lack of credit texako gets for pluggnb

Glad Zaytoven gets his props
