It is so sad yet touching to see the saxophone player playing his part even though he is terminally ill...... R.I.P. Talented man, The Edge Of Glory would not be the same without you.
Clearly most of the people reacting here don't know about this amazing sax player. His name is Clarence Clemons and he was part of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. And in fact you clearly don't know this man died two weeks after this performance. This was his last performance and Gaga just wanted him to have a good and positive last performance on national tv, only because of these people who don't know about this, they just spread hate.
Nobody hates her xd actually she is a pretty good singer and an aweosome artists but her fans are only with her because of the glitter and the pop, you know, those flamboyant homosexuals, they're annoying.
+Je suis Le Garçon did it ever cross your mind, that maybe we stick with her, cause she an amazing singer and performer. Also she an inspiration, always being proud of who she is!
R.I.P. Clarence Clemons. This was one of his last live performances before dying of a stroke @ age 69 and he played on the original studio track as well. The E-Street Band will not be the same without your soulful sax.
Having a theatrical voice with the versatility to do everything gives her the power to do the things she does with pop musical stylings on top of writing and producing. She's all kinds of art, talented with a visually pleasing aesthetic all in one. That's fucking amazing. I don't understand how anyone wouldn't get it.
I remember that day and i was so excited for that performance but when my dad knew that Lady Gaga is going to perform, he switched the channel. Lady Gaga was broadly criticised and hated in the Philippines back then for being so outspoken and brave on whatever she believes in and I love her for being like that since then. Glad that he's appreciating Gaga now after Joanne and ASIB. Paws up little monsters!
Lady GaGa have written songs that make it so hard to anyone to dislike her even if one tried . She might be strange and eccentric but she definitely has talent
What a beautiful tribute to her grandfather. The love between a person and their grandparent is so amazing and everlasting. Wish I had an ounce of Lady Gagas talent to create something so wonderful for my late grandmother.
OMG the nostalgic feelings hit me like a train. This is and always will be one of those performances I remember for life, since I was fortunate enough to win the raffle to attend the finale that night. Truely once-in-a-lifetime experience!
It doesn't matter how many times I listen to mother monsters songs...each shout with the windows down...quietly watching. ..dance party in my head...they are all an amazing work of art that raises me up. Love you!💖💖💖💖💖💖
†RIP† The Great Clarence Clemmons from Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band on the sax....I'm so glad he got one last great solo recorded with Lady Gaga =)
For those that have nothing nice to say about Clarence's sax playing during this performance. Quote from Bruce Springsteen's autobiography, Born to Run. Shortly after this performance Bruce asked Clarence how he is doing, Clarence told Bruce "he had numbness in his hand that was inhibiting his sax playing and making him very nervous". Clarence died a few weeks after this performance, making it his last performance. I was 11 at the time and heartbroken when I found out that the Big Man had passed away. R.I.P. Big Man ❤🎷.
I remember me and my grandma watched this on TV and my grandma said "Oh My God, This song is so beautiful, I got goosebumps" and I said "Oh my God Me too"😁
This is the first time I ever saw or heard of Lady Gaga. Me and my mom always watched American Idol together when i was a kid and she came on and my mom said "oh i like her lets see the song" and i was completely entranced. Fell in love and its stayed until now, 11 years later. I was 9 at that point lol
I was like 9 when I first saw this performance and reading all the comments made me sad because they all said, "the saxophone player was so off, blah blah blah" that's fucking Clarence Clemons, he died literally two weeks after this give him a damn break. 9 year old me was more mature than most of you haters. #RipClarence :((
+Juan Pablo Ha It's stupid to call someone like Gaga, Perry or Swift "Queen of pop music" if they were at the peak of popularity a few years, becouse Madonna doesn't lose her popularity for 30 YEARS!!! Madonna earned her throne, and the other bitches have done too little to deserve it.
just watched taylor swift and katy perry's live performances, but none of them makes me like to watch them live than lady gaga... yet.... still looking for other performances and artists live...
haHAHAHAHAHA. that's so funny. actually she's not a witch, her talents are simply just her or satan. not sure exactly which but you're right, she does sound better live
It is so sad yet touching to see the saxophone player playing his part even though he is terminally ill...... R.I.P. Talented man, The Edge Of Glory would not be the same without you.
what? what happened tho?

He suffered a stroke and passed a week later. I don’t think he was terminally ill tho. Although, he did have his health issues
*Big Man
The big man had health issues but wasn't terminally ill, he had a massive stroke that killed him. RIP C 10 years on and it still hurts 💔

Exactly!!! We Monsters should Be Honored...
Damien de Beus so his death was planned??
Oyedokun Joshua no... he was very sick.
I’m fully aware of who he was. He was ill though and shouldn’t have been playing. He choked, but she kept it moving !
It's a good performance I think something happen with the audio.
Fucking Iconic!!! This is why all the fucking artists hate her because she can sing live and do all those things!!! Fuck them up Gaga!!! Queen
Reynaldo Juarez omg rt

maria jyläntö totalmente de acuerdo.
Her voice sounds different in eqach performance, Shes kinda of a Vocal actress. flawless
wallace torrieri LMAO no she's not, she's just terribly inconsistent and her vocal technique is horrendous.
if you dont like her why doyou whatch her videos?
"her vocal technique is horrendous" are you trolling? she has amazing technique lol
wallace torrieri That is true and it's what makes her an artist rather than an interpret.
Are you on crack... ? She is naturally on pitch...
He was actually a legend... His name is Clarence Clemons. He died a couple of days after this performance.
Little monster so VINCENTIMENTS 😮😮❤️
Sad days
omg i didn't notice this was vincentiments

her voice is awesome

She sounded very emotional as if she were holding back tears while singing.

This is the first performance of Gaga that introduced me to her vocal abilities. I remember being amazed on how she hit those high notes with ease.
all her eras screamed 80s which i loved so much omg !!!!

Clarence wasn't very strong here, but that's understandable considering his circumstances. I'm glad they got to perform this song together.

Clarence Clemmens R.I.P. You couldn't have performed with a more beautiful person than Lady Gaga. Thank you for that.awsome perfection. 💜🧡💛💚💙
One of Lady Gaga's best performances vocally

Mad respect for the Big Man and lady gaga for having him live 💞
This heartbreaking 💔. You can hear the sax weeping, but still giving it all he’s got.
Lady Gaga was amazing. ❤RIP Clarence Clemons. 😭

This great song makes me remember 2011. Was so good at that time listening to Born This Way album. :)
LADY GAGA !!!! LOVE YOU !!!
Every single one of her performances was different. Her and her team are built different. History will be kind to Gaga and she deserves it.

Too bad the people sont realize that was part of the performance
This performance looked like extracted from the 80's pop singers and enthusiasm of that times!!!! it feels nostalgically in some sense!!!!
lady gaga and mark such a great team and dance in son the edge of glory love them both😊😍
like her outfit with the jacket and hat off

Try jessie j and kelly clarkson
