I was at this race and the entire grandstands shook when Blaney hit. It was a loud BLAM too. Scared the you know what out of me.

Interesting that Mark Martin's #60 Winn Dixie car was a Thunderbird for this race instead of a Taurus.
This was the Taurus' first year in Nascar. Martin drove the T-Bird because it had more aero efficient than the Taurus at Daytona and Talladega.
