Probably not, I abruptly dropped the game after the last tournament after I saw that a tournament contender slipped in a brokenly overpowered Pyre tree for the hero Evia.

I thought your video was very insightful, and I’m kinda sad to learn you’ve lost interest in the game. I hope that you feel differently in the future. Unrelated; I noticed you frequently needed to move your hair out of your line of vision. I’d like to suggest you do what I do, and experience aggressive male pattern baldness. My hair hasn’t been a vision impairment in literally decades. I can’t recommend it enough. Forget Keeps, I recommend we keep Forgetting. Regardless, keep on keeping on. ❤️
I think I argued with you on the discord briefly about Lament not being the worst... But after playing more I have to agree lol. Especially after playing the campaign map and having to rush the arcane factions strength to win the first fight against their hero, lament just doesnt have any faction abilities or features that makes them strong. I had my nostalgia Dungeon faction blinders on. Cant wait to see if something's changed for them to fix them up and make them unique.
yo bro apriciated got like 4hrs on the game and ofc luck would have it i got lament shit made me want to quit the game but since theres other factions i decided hey lets look at some tierlists so this helped a tonalon cheers :)

Very nice to see new content and a new update, can't wait to play in the 1.7 :) Nevertheless, 2 points are worrying me for the future of the game: -mages need mana regen: with the necro skill nerf, the only faction who will be able to use mages is Arcane, right? The mana regen skill is not bad, just meh and there is NOTHING else in the entire game to regain man. Having to wait a week to regain mana will make mage heroes very weak imo... -troop formations in battles: it's disappointing to drop blobs of units or micromanage a lot to deploy troops with MAJ and CTRL, battles would be much better with line formations or an option to strech them in a kind of line. I love the game and i hope it will have a bright future!
Here a little exploit with enclave : take olane as hero. Put at least one point on his mastery (he will at one point make appear a rex) and then you make sure you have the devour skill and an infirmary (I think it's that) After that consume one rex at a time. Infirmary save 50% of the unit. With 1 unit consume, he will be saved 100% of the time. You will soon have a really powerful hero and army
Tbh whenever I've used Order they've been pretty solid as long as you rack up a bunch of money, but also I've only done AI so I'm sure I'll be proven wrong in PvP. Although I love using Tide, Enclave, and Arcane as well
The meta has changed a lot since the list of the recursive destruction build. Tide can go from F tier to S tier depending on the map because of their special abilities
@@TheStetinum I Appreciate ya. It's a hard no. I certainly could but the toxic players I kept running into paired with the little hate group that formed on the discord sucked the fun out of it for me
@@bcpond understandable, making pvp contents is tough, especially when it requires you to be involved in a para-community. Sometimes it’s better to just cut yourself off and do your own thing alone
Humans/order are usually a great first choice for any strategy game as they'll probably be easy to understand and straight forward to pick up and play imo.
this got outdated, lament got unique units and they got that freaky 5 secs on invincibility plus free black dragons (if you play well), also i think wild is missjudged since you can keep the anima in town and take it for emergency and the overgrowth is not bad since it gives you elementals and you can protect the realm where your mines are
You are correct the game has been updated since the video, several times over in fact. As for Wild, no overgrowth fed exp to enemies and while they were strong their builds hard countered in the tournaments
Also it depends on a few thing decay moved up to S class recently unless you're super aggressive towards them now and knock em out before lv20 they can end up with 500 spell power and knowledge by week 15
@@Omega_1306 week 15? Unless things have changed for the worst most PVP encounters should end in weeks two to four. Week two is agro and week four for control builds like great hydra summoning as enclave
@@bcpondit depends large map size has become quite favored so if decay can get a mesmur set of 3 before week four get the brilliant orb and fort and tower of mages access its really off too the races

Yes, the game has changed quite a bit since I was active but I feel I had my finger on the pulse of the meta last year
Pearls are so much harder to get compared to hunts because of the ui imo, its easier to just play with the one you get and not worry
That and you have to buy an expensive building then but the units you get if you find the pearls. It's too expensive and not fun

The thing with aether forge for arcane is you can get permanent stats. I went up to 70+ spell power and knowledge in on a late hame easy.

On the mana debate I'd prefer a spell slot system to mana because it would be easier to balance with the current week system

This game doesnt even have good native support for multiplayer on steam. Why rate it for a comparative scene when it's so hard to find one?
I played over a hundred competitive matches but the toxic scene on their discord combined with the mods outright ignoring me scared me off

I have to agree with your list to be honest. What enclave need to get to S tier in your opinion ?
Enclave is super powerful and currently 100% win rate in the tournament so I do not think it needs buffs
