      I've thought about how to do it too when i saw the film,
      i found this on youtube:
      ua-cam.com/video/P7aD_WhOLBI/v-deo.html (Gemino charm / Doubling charm)
      But he doesn't seem to share how exactly he pulled it off.
      Maybe it's just particles that spawn in something to glitch them out of that on purpose (Particles spawning the item AND a invisible collision object per item?)
      Looks fun, i might give it a shot later today.

I tried to create a mask in the center of the cloner so that the holes are only at the edges of the plane, without success. it is possible with your "boolean technique" (one connection on cloner and rectangle). • @CGShortcuts
      @CGShortcuts  5 місяців тому

      Sometimes older tutorials dont work so well in newer versions of C4D due to changes in the software (usually a single step needs changing slightly) best way to check is to download the project file from the link - if that works in your version of C4D you should be able to see where you went wrong, if not you may need to tweak a step or you can try in an older version of C4D.

    • @CGShortcuts

    • @CGShortcuts
      @CGShortcuts  5 років тому

      It might be pretty complicated to do mate as all the balls are moving randomly. I'd set it up differently if that was the plan. Make one ball animate how you want it with changing materials, then clone that and offset the time on each clone.
