I didn't think it was possible when you first posted about it. Now I'm always going to reference this video. I still can't believe the yam is good. Wow just wow!😲
This is actually amazing!!! I stopped buying yam because of its audacity always getting spoilt!! But now i know better. Where to get wooden plank is now the koko baayii. Question though....have you tried an experiment on how to preeserve the yam when you have cut it in half? Would love to know about that. Thanks for all you do, Ronke. It's always a delight to watch your videos💜
Thank you for this experiment! I have always wondered, when you buy yam and only want to cook half of it...should I cut and cook the half with the head(the part where it'll usually grow from) and store the half with the tail or cut and cook the tail and store the half with the head down like in your experiment? I hope this question makes sense
This is very interesting and a discovery for many. Where in your house did you store it? Was the plank elevated or lying on the floor? About what temperature surrounding the yam? Thanks for trying this
Great news. Can I wrap the yam in newspapers and store in a cold/cool garage. Why a plank? Thanks for the experiment. Definitely going to try it.
Thanks for offering to carry out the experiment on our behalf😄👏👏
You are welcome!

No but I’ve been waiting for this yam 😂😂
It is finally here!
Wow! I never imagined this yam would make it out even be edible. What did you make with it?
I have not decided yet. Its still chilling
So good!!!
Well so it stored well. How about what it tasted like. Was it good to eat?
Yes it was. It was a like dry to soaking before cooking helped

It was a plank on the floor in my panty. Indoor temp stayed between 20 and 24 degrees celcuis the whole time.
@@9jafoodie thanks very much for this, this the way to go rather than freezing for me

Teach us when you find out
Can it be store in the garage on a plank?
Depends on what temp your garage gets to in the summer months
Interesting 🤔
But how do you know the yam is good when you’re about to buy at the store. Because atimes you by yam from the African store and it’s bad.
Watch the video. I shared plenty tips in it.
