My favorite Gay movie is I Can't Think Straight. It has a special place in my heart because it was my first and I just love how despite their two different cultures, families and other factors Leyla and Tala got together no matter what (plus it has happy ending)
My absolute favorite is Saving Face. It's honestly one of the only LGBT movies I've seen that I'd consider a great movie in general, not just in that genre. It knows when to be funny and when to be serious and it isn't super predictable. I only wish it was more well-known.
Prolly something Carmilla-themed to tide us over while waiting for Season Zero! Also for waiting for the Almost Adults trailer! Something to stuff our faces with to deal with all the feels. Thanks in advance!
omg I love that movie, and they did say they were gunna make a second one but it never happened. I would love to see what happened with Lucy and amy :)
Yes, Imagine Me and You is a very good movie, I loved it! And I was watching it with my sister and she said "No, why didn't she stay with her husband" and I was like " Damn you had to be straight"
Agreed. Imagine Me and You was one of the first LGBTQ movies I watched as a teenager and it helped me admit a lot about myself. Also, H was a treat. That smartass kid. Haha.
+NJSillaStew Yes to the feels. Yes to Lena Headey. Yes to the fact that it was one of the first LGBTQ movies I watched. And that little girl, H, was adorable.
+NJSillaStew I loved Imagine Me And You, mainly due to the fact that is probably the only lesbian movie I've watched that has a happy ending. The other ones I've watched are either happy but really bad, or good and tragic, or worse, bad and tragic.
"Show me love" is without doubt my favorite, probably saw it every day after school for a year! Off course I bet it's not as good if you are not from a small town in Sweden and have that to relate too as well...
everyone always says how great of a movie imagine me & you is, but I watched the first 30 minutes of it and fell asleep. I've never had the urge to finish it either.
I have three:A World Unseen is my favorite drama. Imagine Me and You is my favorite rom-com. Edie and Thea: A Very Long Engagment is my favorite documentary!
+medjouliette when you get past allll of the sex scenes (not that I minded), there is a really nice story and an intimacy between the two characters that is breathtaking.
Right now, Girltrash! Yeah, the musical that stemmed from a webseries about lesbian shenanigans. Please do a pillowtalk about it. It's a fun movie and there are a lot of familiar faces from South of Nowhere, the L Word and even Loving Annabelle (even though Erin was only in the opening scene). And, again, it's a musical!! Pillowtalk material! 😊
I watched the documentary yesterday! (I know I waited a lot) I bawled my eyes out. And now I have to see this movie I can't wait. My current favourite is "The Night Watch" (Ellen bless Sarah Waters) and I know "Carol" is gonna be awesome!
Circumstance is my favourite. I just love it so much ! Although Kyss mig was quite good as well. and well I can just watch bloomington and imagine me and you all the time and never get tired of it hahaha
+Falling Feathers Its a great movie, you should DEFINATELY watch it :) just don't google it or watch anything with spoilers prior, trust me you'll thank me later.
My fave movie is imagine me and you..that i watched cause you two talked about it at some point! Also adrianna's lil clapping got me giggling so hard i fell off the bad
I'd say it's this korean film called I Like It Hot, the main character isn't a lesbian, but her niece is and has a cute little story in it. pretty good film
Definitely love The World Unseen, it even has the same beautiful two main actresses as in the movie I Can't Think Straight. I'd like to think they liked each other soOO much that they decided to make aNOTher gay movie together!!!
Sadly i didnt watch that this past weekend, i went through a tree top obstacle course, zip linning, cheesecake factory, mall, and watched Hotel Transylvania 2! And my fav is imagine me and you. Bc it is perfect
Four Faced Liar was the first movie i ever bought...but Elena Undone is def my go to when i need to remind myself that maybe one day i can be happy even though im trapped in my parents religion
The Hours! It is not a gay movie but seeing Nicole Kidman (who played Virginia Woolf), Julianne Moore AND Meryl Streep kiss another lady was kinda epic
+Sarah Marbles i wasn't talking about the spoilers. every one is talking about it and that makes me wanting to watch it even more but i have to wait till it get online
I haven't seen all that many LGBT movies, but out of the ones I have seen I liked GBF the best. It has a great cast, is very entertaining, and... nobody dies.

"I can't remember a movie where Julianne Moore has been in that good things happen to her" lmao SO true

"Imagine me & you" is my favorite lesbian video :)

I absolutely love the movie "Show me love", probably one of my all time favorites.
Adrianna, why don't you make a cooking video again? :D
yeah, please cook something :D
+medjouliette Actually they said there will be one very soon
Prolly something Carmilla-themed to tide us over while waiting for Season Zero! Also for waiting for the Almost Adults trailer! Something to stuff our faces with to deal with all the feels. Thanks in advance!
D.E.B.S., no matter how horrible it really is, has got to be my favorite gay movie
Jordana Brewster ❤️
Yes! It's so bad it's good
With you there! Plus it never disappoints in cheering me up.
omg I love that movie, and they did say they were gunna make a second one but it never happened. I would love to see what happened with Lucy and amy :)
Rachel Myers me too! We can keep dreaming that one day, maybe...
Saving Face (2004) is my all time fave! I never get bored of watching it.

What'd I do this weekend? I was at the Creampuff viewing party watching the finale of Carmilla with the cast and D Y I N G
+rad dilaurentis WHERE WAS THIS PARTY

That Sadrianna moment at the beginning
I think Image me and You for all the feels it caused in me and cause it was the first LGBTQ movie I watched
+NJSillaStew Me too! I spent the whole movie trying to figure out why their love story was affecting me so much. Later, I realised.
Yes, Imagine Me and You is a very good movie, I loved it! And I was watching it with my sister and she said "No, why didn't she stay with her husband" and I was like " Damn you had to be straight"

Blue is the warmest color = best movie ever
Ellen Degeneres, Ruby Rose, and Kristen Stewart are the Trinity!
Yes! I love all of this!!! This channel is the greatest!❤️❤️
"But I'm a Cheerleader"
So I just watched the trailer and it made me teary. I am so going to ball my eyes out when I see it.

Pride! My absolute favorite film of all time. All the feels. All the feels.
I've never had the urge to finish it either.
we all have preferences :)
It sucks living in a homophobic town in the south of the USA. My theater will not play any gay movies. I guess that is what the Internet is for!
Fucking theater ! But hey that's what's internet for ;)
+chloe harrison When you can, call me and I'll buy you a plane ticket to LA so you can live. Deal?
For now just pull through haha
+Falling Feathers You got a deal! :-)
That cuddling at the start... Ohhh girrrrlll
Lost and Delirious is def one of my faves. Imagine Me and You is another one of the best!

Room in Rome was one of the first LGBT movies I watched... when I was 11 or so... at that point I knew I was at least bisexual :D
Name ist Unbekannt yes, my german friend )
+medjouliette when you get past allll of the sex scenes (not that I minded), there is a really nice story and an intimacy between the two characters that is breathtaking.
Kat you're absolutely right :)
I was 11 when j first watched my LGBT movie and I was watching Loving Anabelle. I thought that I was either gay or bi
The Geography Club is my favorite lgbt+ movie because it was so moving and eye-opening. I would definitely recommend it.
GirlTrash: All Night Long! For two reasons, there is singing and Spashley! Come on!
+Mahara603 JUDGING YOU
+UnsolicitedProject yeah but Spashley tho.... There pretty much the Carmilla and Laura of 2005 (not that anyone can compare to Hollstein)
+UnsolicitedProject How rude!
"No we lost cause she has POO on her face again!" Made me laugh so hard, Adriana you're hilarious.
Adrianna: "I look like I just woke up"
**both of them look stunning**
I watched the documentary yesterday! (I know I waited a lot) I bawled my eyes out. And now I have to see this movie I can't wait. My current favourite is "The Night Watch" (Ellen bless Sarah Waters) and I know "Carol" is gonna be awesome!

Favorite gay movie, I'm going with "Imagine Me and You." I also really like "But I'm a Cheerleader", but IMY beats it. It's just really well done.

#3 Imagine me & you... only because Lena Headey.
+Bambi Scherbatsky Yesss! I completely agree.

One of my favorites is When Night is Falling, and it's a Canadian film so I think that gives it extra points.
Am I the only one eager to see The Girl King? The trailer is awesome to me :)
+DjStreetSound You're not alone! It looks incredible! Beautiful! ♀ + ♀ = ♥!
Boy Meets Girl, one of the best

I'd say it's this korean film called I Like It Hot, the main character isn't a lesbian, but her niece is and has a cute little story in it. pretty good film

It isn't out yet but lets go ahead and say Almost Adults is my fave LGBT movie. High hopes for all you talented ladies! (and justin!)

'Kyss mig' is an amazing movie!

Four Faced Liar was the first movie i ever bought...but Elena Undone is def my go to when i need to remind myself that maybe one day i can be happy even though im trapped in my parents religion
There are no theaters showing Freeheld near me :(
Bloomington, Blue is the warmest color I seen many, but those are my favorite and any movie where Angelina Jolie plays lesbian.
lmaooo u did the cross thing wrong
I'm in love with I can't think straight
Tie between Life Partners and Kiss Me! I also have a soft spot for Imagine Me and You cause it's so delightfully cheesy.

+Nour El Houda lol some of us? including adrianna and sarah? they're in Toronto, Ontario
+Nour El Houda Some of us are also in a homophobic family. I live in the USA but I can't see it still due to my family and being closeted.
The four faced liar is great, and it made me cry, so that's good sign.
I haven't seen all that many LGBT movies, but out of the ones I have seen I liked GBF the best. It has a great cast, is very entertaining, and... nobody dies.
