Massive gratitude. Thanks to this video, I was able to replace a busted taillight by myself. The dealership was going to charge $600 in labor. I would never have figured this out on my own. You're the man!
That's why he went thru that ? If it was to remove seat belts I would have just Cut The seat Belts off. The ending did not show what he was after. I have to replace both tail tight assemblies so I will have to do all of that. Not so bad after all. I ordered both rear tail lights from Amazon for $100 Each. 5-6-22 I hope the 2 front headlight assemblies will be easier.
Thanks for this effort, I want to tap into my rear speaker leads to install a subwoofer and I believe I see them in your video, I may be able to go via the jack access panel, I hope it's similar on the other side.
Thanks a ton mate, this video helped me get interior panels out the way so I could knock out a large dent on the rear quarter from the previous owner on my '07. Turns out the model years are nearly identical under the bodywork.

Every part I had to change on this car required removing a dozen other unrelated parts. As well part prices that are thru the roof! Love the car for its convenience, cargo and seating, but maintaining it is just too expensive. I'm just wondering what the car designers were thinking when they put this car together.

To change the rear speakers I removed the 2 bolts and 1 screw , separated the top trim pieces , pulled trim with speaker access out.- 1/4" drive ratchet - Boom ! Done....
AWESOME!!! The idiots who did the bodywork on my 2009 Mazda5 must have missed or filled in a drain and i have water coming in the LR corner. This should help me find out where and how it's coming in :)

Do you know what the name of the outer panel behind the tailight is? Because I backed into a pole and already have a tailight but I can't find the name or part # of that panel anywhere.
