      Love this journey for the two of you. The results are really impressive you should be very proud of yourselves for sticking to it. Toy, with your lecithin allergy you can when you're making a salad, soak the veg in some water for 10-15 mins to help remove some of the lecithin and then peel them as the skins contain most of it and see if that works. Alternatively, you can buy tablets that you take orally that help dissolve and eliminate any of the lecithin in your stomach before symptoms arise. Hopefully, that can be something to help you get back to noshing on your salad again.
      I do have a question when it comes to the sugar. I'm an emotional eater and have been for many years due to past trauma, mostly from childhood with secondary school bullying, and if you're wondering how bad, let's just say I came very close to not being here right now. My question is, how do you curb the soft drinks like Coke and Pepsi I do drink the Zero and Max versions which are sugar-free but, do dip back into the classic or full-fat versions on very rare occasions, ngl I got some Coke Classic for Eurovision this year to share with my cousin when he comes over to watch. What do you advise do curb anything remotely sugary or do have a little indulgence now and again as with a soft drink it's not a massive misfire like eating a whole Dairy Milk chocolate bar even, if it's only one of the tiny ones. What do you suggest and how did you curb the soft drinks?

      The tip Dr. Gundry says in order to remove the lectins is to cook the vegetables in Pressure cooker which I have tried and it seems to be working however at the moment I am just staying away from the nightshifts.
      I (Toy) was saddened to read you had difficult period in life and let me tell you that, nobody should have feel the way you felt. No one ever should be bullied so I am deeply sorry you got to those points in life. I do hope you are feeling stronger and better now.
      Regarding the Sugar, emotional eating sounds like a type of eating disorder that need to be taken care very carefully with a lot of sensitivity and self acceptance to yourself. The way to do it is to go through a therapy that will allow you to acknowledge, accept or even release those emotions you were describing. Detoxing from Sugar will allow you slowly also detoxing from those soft drinks. Goy used to love drinking Pepsi Max and slowly within the process, he gave away Sugar in steps which eventually led him to give away the pepsi max he loved so much. Even when it says 0% sugar, there are subs in it that can be even worse than the sugar itself.
      As said, in our videos, we are allowing ourselves eating Dark Chocolate 85% minimum to have a "treat". We are making sure to have a "treat" day once a week which we allow ourselves to eat something sweet.
      Our advise is not looking at it as a battle but as a resource and help to yourself. Sometimes I do feel craving suddenly to something sweet but I keep reminding myself that I don't need it and I am taking care of myself by not giving myself poison. When it happens, I make myself coffee / tea (without milk - as milk contains a lot of sugar as well) and try to focus on something else than food.

    Congratulation! Happy you feeling better now, i also started to lose Weight and gain muscle since 2020 and it worked well (I didn't do more than 3 push-ups before). It feels so weird to see your old reactions now ahah. 🔥👏

      Giving up Sugar needs to be done as Detox as our body is addicted to it as in anything we are addicted to it, it is really tough to cut it in one go.

    Congratulations on your amazing transformations, both of you. I really need to lose weight because now I'm 19st, and it's really really bothering me. I'm commenting right now right at the start of watching this video, so I can't wait to see how you did it. I'm so desperate to change my lifestyle for the better. I do like a drink as well, so that has probably contributed to weight gain. I really have to do something.

    I just started my 3rd weeks without sugar! I am eating date when I want something sweet and it works!!!! I was eating a lot of candys EVERY DAY, especially when I am working or studying - and now I DO NOT NEED IT any more! Just a few dates per day and I am done! You two looks amazing and healthy! Thank you for making this video, also a great motivation! Your story is real, important and a great advice!

      IT IS AMAZING!!! Dates are a good source to satisfy the sweet craving but also contains a lot of sugar so be mindful !!! having said that, dates for sure are much better than artificial sweets and candies. KEEP IT GOING and well done for giving away the Sugar. We are glad you see the benefit of this.

    I keep wanting to quit sugar and carbohydrates, but I haven't been able to do it, yet. Same with dairy, but more important is the sugar and carbs. I wish I could find that switch that you did.

    I had similar experience as yours. I had problems with my intestines, as it turned out later, it was an overgrowth of bad bacteria, or otherwise Candida. I always felt that my abdomen was bloated, I had food allergies every time I ate, I had night sweats and the feeling that something was in my lower abdomen, I felt tired all the time. My mental health also started to deteriorate, I became very sensitive, cried often, and developed social anxiety that I didn't have before. So after reading on the internet about overgrowth of bacteria, I also decided to cut out sugar and products containing it, I cut out processed foods, looked at food labels, counted my carb intake for the day, and didn't eat anything from 6PM. My health improved after a week, I felt like a new born. My boyfriend at the time asked me when I was going to start eating everything again, but I felt so much better that I didn't want to go back to how I felt before. My receptors have also changed because I used to not be able to eat most vegetables, now they are my main food and I really like them. It's been 10 years since I changed my diet, today I have more carbs in my diet, but I choose healthy sources like oatmeal, brown rice and stuff like that. The principle of nutrition remained the same: a lot of fruits and vegetables, unprocessed products. Also, like you, I order a piece of cake when I go to a coffee shop, but I try not to overindulge. I feel great. :)

    I'm happy for you that you have found a solution for your health problems. I don't eat much sugar, I drink tea solo and I don't eat much junk food, but some days, I don't know why, I become Anxiety if I don't eat something sweet.

      Thanks for sharing. Yeah, we can understand craving for sweet. The way we handle it is we eat Dark Chocolate 85% ... There is a bit sugar in it but all around Cocoa is quite healthy to your body.

    lol I hate the gym too! It's not for me so I do yoga, dance classes and Pilates instead as well as play tennis, those activities I love and actually enjoy, when it comes to exercise it's just about finding something you enjoy!

      @@ToyAndGoy Absolutely will do that this weekend🥰. And I am hopeful after hearing Isaak has found a way to feel better with IBS following these tips. Just one question, and I know it might be too much to ask. If you don't eat gluten and don't drink milk or use anything with nitrates (did I hear that well?), then what do your meals look like on a regular day? Do you use glutenfree products for example? And do you eat other dairy products that do go well or no dairy at all? Thank you so so much!

      @@JNL76 Dr. Gundry wrote a book " The Plant Paradox" which gives you a list of what you can eat and what you shouldn't eat.
      My food routine is extremely boring. I used to cook more variety and "enjoy" food but suffered afterwards, now my food is extremely boring but my guts behave.
      My breakfast include: Alpro yogurt no added sugar with 2 Kiwis (with skin) and apple. My lunch includes: Salad made of lettuce, celery, raddish, carrot, avocado (At least one a day), onion, spring onion and olives. The dressing is Olive oil extra virgin or Avocado oil (Don't use sunflower oil, corn oil or canola oil...). My dinner changes : Sometimes omelette (only from Pastured chickens) with mushrooms, I can eat prawns, I can eat Pastured chicken, use coconut milk to make some sauce. I found a nice Gluten free bread (Genius brand) but I prefer usually not to eat gluten free products as they are putting a lot of sugar in them. I sometimes make Banana cake made of Banana, dark chocolate 85% and cinnamon (It appeared in one of the videos we made).
      There are solutions out there and I am sure you can come up with a solution that will benefit you. The big challenge is to decide to make the change.

      @@ToyAndGoy I am watching videos of Dr Gundry this week and ordered the book. Think I might start the diet in May. But for now, the sugar - protein is already SUPER helpfull, I am amazed by what I discovered !!! And thank you SO much for your advise and menu, that is also very helpfull, although it scares me a little bit because I love food and my husband's a cook 😂. Thank you, really, I will let you know how it goes 🥰

    I struggle with a really puffy face and have a lot of fat under my chin too and
    Just want that gone and I think loosing weight could help since it did for Goy's face, that's the transformation I want.
