I remember James Blunt being a very Marmite character. Some people really had a hatred for him. I always preferred "Goodbye My Lover" which is a very dark song. How far we have fallen as the BBC would never show the Eminem hit nowadays. Also, it is TOTP, WTF was Andi Peters thinking about ending the programme with the title theme, you do a proper playout. D>
Andi Peters being the exec producer didn't help. The programme was 41 years old at this point, in 40 years, the presenter never needed an earpiece, why did the presenter suddenly need one. Just saying, did the presenters help at this stage if they couldn't do a 20-second link between songs.
@Ianriggers You're not allowed to say things like that it's just a music chart show just like Radio 1's chart show, except on television, Top of the Pops should still be airing today, axing it was one of the BBC's biggest mistakes.
Imagine telling your granchildren you were a dancer on TOTP for the Crazy Frog.
HAHAH

Sadly by this point Top of the Pops was dying a death wasn't getting the viewer's it once did.
