Hi I am from south India and I just wanna say that in India every state Is like a different country with different delecasy. Thanks for these many likes😢🤓🤓🤓🤓
@ResearchShyVids I meant it by culture. Like what you find in Gujarat -dhokla khakra... Cannot be found in Bengal but people can make other state food through internet but still the culture......... India-- ❤UNITY IN DIVERSITY ❤
@ResearchShyVids that's about govt we know how India is today and is going to be tomorrow. Govt cannot just get all Christians and Muslims to go to UAE OR USA.😀
I tried kerala food, which is believe is in South India, at a restaurant in LA recently. I thought it was great. I even have a video of it. Perhaps you can watch it and give me your feedback on if its real Indian or not.
I really miss going to India now that I’m retired, your food review makes me want to go again. One of my highlights on a past trip was staying at one of the Taj properties (in Mumbai) in the summer and looking at all the crates of fresh mangoes stacked up at the entrance. India has dozens of mango varieties and one of my most favorite desserts was fresh sliced chilled mango with a scoop of passion fruit sorbet in the center...the mangoes were sweet as honey.
I've never had lassi in Japan, so am not sure. It's safe to say that recipes of all dishes may vary upon the chef, thus yes, likely will have some similarities and differences 😄
Are you from Kerala? I tried kerala cuisine for the first time at an acclaimed Indian restaurant in LA, and even got it on video. Maybe you can watch it and let me know if those are authentic Indian dishes I featured :)
Gaby P I am Indian to and I would suggest Roti, Chappati and Indian breads if you are vegan. The South Indian cuisine is totally different from the North Indian cuisine. Do you should try Uthapam and Idiyapam. Dal and Samar are signature dishes. You should also try playing Vada with Sambar. And miss Mina already mentioned most of the submarine’s Indian dishes. But she forgot Dahl. It’s really good with roti or rice. In rice dishes you should try jeera rice and any kind of Biriyani. In India there are a lot of different currys. So many that I can’t name them. There are also different Indian pickles we like to call aachar. You have to try these at least once in your life.
Nethraa Ravilla thanks I appreciate it! I have tried roti dal and samabar. I hope I can try the rest especially as many curries and pickled veggies as possible! I also love rice so I’m really open to anything with that ❤️❤️
Yes major props. When I tried a kerala Indian restaurant in LA, I had no clue what the dishes were called, so I had to keep a menu at my side at all times when I was explaining each dish in my episode.
The Dhokla is cooked separately like cake and that moisture in the Dhokla comes because a tadka (different kinds of seeds are tossed in oil) is put over the dry dhokla.
I have just bookmarked all those dishes in my "recipes i need to make" because this entire video made me HUNGRYYY !! all the food looked soso good ! (and the people so nice !!)
I am from India. I am a huge fan of her and I am here to know mina's reaction on different Indian foods. Btw i so regret she was in India and I couldn't meet her. 💜
Kudos on the video! But just wanted to point out a mistake on the hotel's part - what you showed them making is masala dosa, Mysore dosa is different as it has both the filling and a spicy chutney that is spread inside the dosa.
Miss Mina if you have time please go to Estonia. Pacific place I will recommend Tallinn that's the main place in Estonia. Wanna know why Estonia. Because I am from Estonia
wow ! your voice is sooo good to my ears ASMR. You deserve lots of subscribers. And thank you for blurring out peoples faces, I like it that you care about peoples privacy.
@kitsune 1 how dare you speak like that to my friend!!! I have seen a lot of idiots like you! Dont dare to say any word to my friend again she is hurt because of you 😠😠
Both Indian and Western sections looked very yummy. Would love to try that buffet looks very inviting. I would like to try the rose chutney thing to see if it is similar to rose petal jam that I had years ago.
I feel you. I didn't know as well, until I tried a kerala Indian restaurant recently in LA. Half of the dishes she featured were in my episode as well, but just slightly different. Check it out!
Hi Miss Mina! I know I'm kind of late but I wanted to give a suggestion of where you should go! I think you should go to Costa Rica and try the famous dish, Gallo Pinto! You can also go ziplining through the forest and see all the animals as your passing by! I suggest this location cause me and my whole family are from Costa Rica and we go every year!
When the Dhosa is white like that it is likely a slightly fermented rice flour dough. Korean food was starting up when I was there, but the Chinese food in India is quite good & uniquely different! And keep your eye out for the street food Chaat / Paani Puri.
India, Philippines & Thailand foods were incredible & affordable. I wonder what the foods are like Bali, Indonesia, more on India, Thailand, Philippines, or places like Saipan, Guam, Palau, Sri Lanka, Malaysia. Thanks
Hii mina..i am from india i love ur all videos and i like indian food specially south indian food thanks fr ur visit in india and i am waiting for more videos if india..❤
I wasn't either, until only a couple years ago. I have yet to try Northern Indian food, but tried plenty southern style, and even vlogged one recently. Kerala cuisine. Half of what she featured was also in my episode. =)
Hi Mina, You've put copious amounts of effort to learn pronunciation for most Indian dishes. A well curated content! Relatedly, I guess you're from South Korea?
Happy Foodie Friday! Wishing you all a yummy weekend ahead. And may your dreams be filled with cute and pillowy puri ❤️
Miss Mina just got out of school
I’m sooo hungry I dint eat lunch cuz it was a half day
Thx same to you
Proud to be indian
I hope you enjoy Indian food!😘❤️❤️
i think i saw you in Lub D Siem Reap two days back. or all Chinese look same

Mina: It's a buffet and it is in a five star hotel!
Mike Chen: Who? What? Where?
Exactly😁
The food looks similar to an Indian kerala restaurant i vlogged in LA recently. I recognized like half of those dishes!
Mikey is banned from all buffet hotel breakfast!😂
@@eyeofthetiger6002 I guess I gotta take his place then :)

Now you have to try sri lankan food
6:45 Mango Lassi! Had it many times in Japan! Wonder if it tastes any different in India.

Oh man I love South Indian food. (I love all Indian food) but particularly dosa and idli. YUM. Spicy and vegan friendly
Ever tried kerala region cuisine?
Rockstar Eater no I haven’t! I hope to though. Feel free to suggest dishes I could try :)

@@MissMinaOh plz come to Nepal i am a big fan
@@MissMinaOh definitely the preparation is evident, nice work!
You learned to pronounce Indian food items accurate cheers on that.
If from the video, no not that accurate
Not accurate. No hate, as it’s normal for people to not know how to pronounce foods they aren’t common with.
I like the way Mina describe vada masala...khruh!! Khru..lower note😄♥️
Ever had kerala indian food before? I tried it for the first time at an LA restaurant recently.

I love how you “feel” you food instead of just tasting them. Anyways I’m so happy you liked the food!🥰
I'm so happy that you put up a picture of Mysore places just to show the origin, please do visit south India, loads of love ❤️

U can get gulkand(rose petal jam) from any local spice shop or even grocery stores in India or order it online in amazon
Puri and dosa are my favorite. 😍
They like you too! 😄
@@MissMinaOh I like puri with chana masala and make it fairly often. Thank God for cookbooks/online recipes as I'm not of Indian descent.
I had those puri and dosa for the first time at Mayura restaurant in Los Angeles. It was great. Even caught it on video =)
