She is a beautiful girl. 🐕 I noticed she started dreaming a little bit. 🍗🍖 LOL! 😉😆 I love our 2 fur babies too. ❣ Keep bringing me to the ocean, Jim. 🌊🌊🌈 I appreciate you bringing Gods great earth to me. 😇 Absolutely love your channel!!!!!!! ♥️ Makes my heart full. 💦🦋 🌴🐚🦭🦤God bless you, Seeker 🧐 (Jim). ✝️
Do not think of it as a lot to learn, just think about detecting as often as you can because experience is really how we learn. I hope you find some great stuff and please let me know when you do!
@37:28 I think that tool is either a clay working/pottery tool for fine ornamentation OR a dental tool. I’m leaning much more toward the former. Cheers and happy swinging, Jim! 🖖😎👍
Neck, back, leg, knees & ribs I have seen that wedge do some destruction on humans many of times. Though we keep going back for more punishment because it is so much fun. I miss surfing the wedge and hoping my back gets strong enough do it again soon.
What an Awesome hunt ..Jim are you getting tired man a bit light on the trash this hunt..lol Nice Coinage... The Lock is really cool.. Happy Hunting ..
You made a great point here and proved it at the same time. A metal Detector will detect metal, that's100% certain. I think the failure mostly is the I.D. of the items from the machine. The machine called your last dig a penny and it was a padlock. Its seems alot of your targets land in the 5-7 , 13-15 , 23-27 , and 30-35ish ranges. It gives a general idea but the end result changes. Was over at JJ james channel watching a couple of his dig with that expensive CTX machine. Hit a target at around 8-9 inch , sounded great , pulled out a big iron nail. Even with that expensive machine is didnt know it was a nail. When I had my CZ-3D (14 years ago roughly) same thing pretty much happened to me. Kind of knew what it was from the sound and how the machine was acting with cross sweeping, result was a flip of a coin. Pretty much dig them all(within reason) you never know what you get but you can be certain the metal detector knows its metal but doesnt know its a modelo cap.
I never trust the VDI when it is deep, bring it shallow if still iron move on. But those tent stake and quarters still make me a little nuts at times. Thank you 🤙
Great hunt Jim! Can't wait until my winter adventure starts in 2 weeks. Going south to the gulf first and then west. Will be in Arizona by Thanksgiving. Wish me luck and hope to get together with you and the dynamic duo when I'm out there.
Jim don’t turn your back at the wet beach. Especially at the wedge, quite a shorebreak to say the least. People disappear on beaches, for that reason and others...
just curious why you nevet use a pinpointer to locate frustrating targets? When I find a deep target, I stick my pinpointer in the hole to see where i need to dig next. If I didnt use my PP, I'd have a hard time locating those tiny earrings. thanks for posting.
a true Old School Beach detectorist does not use a pin pointer on the beach. I have never used one on the beach however I would recommend to everyone that they do. Thank you!
@@funwithjim maybe, but you could also say they dont use modern digital detectors or lightweight scoops. If the old school guys had access to pinpointers 30-40 years ago, I can bet theyd use them. anyway thanks again
35+ years ago we had pinpointers, I still have my bulls eye. Beside everyone that I grew up with detecting the beaches KNOWS this rule, NO pinpointers on the beach. My dad would smack me in the back of the head just for the thought of using one on the beach, however we always used one in the desert.
Hello,I have been watching ur videos for a short while now. I really luv the way you guys have such a good time and clean the beach as well. I also notice u get quite a few pull tabs and I don’t know what u do with them but if u don’t have a use already and u have a Childrens hospital and a Ronald McDonald House they take pull tabs or rather they do in Texas one gallon is worth 50 to 60 I think to them just a suggestion luv the video’s.
I recycle everything, Toy Cars, Pull Tabs, Aluminum, copper wire and brass pieces all get donated to different charities including CHOC and RMHC. Thank you 🤙
@@funwithjim OK, my mistake. I keep hearing you refer to "zinc" pennies, which is what some people call the steel pennies which were minted during WW2. I've been collecting the WW2 (steel) pennies all my life (found most of them in OK and TX). So, what are the "zinc" pennies you're referring to?
Together for Treasure is there UA-cam channel, Irene is pregnant and Andrew is working extra hours to prepare for their first child. So they have not produced any videos lately, but what they have made are really fun. Thank You 👍
It's a very good way you appreciate your friendship with Andrew and his lady 💞.
Thank you 🤙
Congratulations! Love the grand dog!❤️❤️❤️
Thank you 🤙
Haley's snoring is just adorable!!! Thanks for sharing that!
Thank you, Lol!
A flask of tea, few roll ups even though they are bad for health, early morning sat on a gorgeous beach, my kind of heaven
Thank You 👍
In the dark, the sand looks like snow. That's so sweet I can hear animals snoring all day. Now people no way.
Good for you! Congratulations on your new grandchild! That's awesome buddy!

Love all the information... only been detecting for 18 months and the beach for only about 6mos... lots to learn.

LOL! I have one of those also, a sweet little 70lb 7 month old German Shepherd puppy, named Tyson who I totally adore!
That is awesome!👍😎

So happy for you on the arrival of your grand 🍼🐥🍼 baby:)
Thank you so much!!😎
That is a whole lot of digging. You make metal detecting fun. It’s not just about finding things but also how you find them. Thanks

Great hunt Jim. Great lock. You or Irene need to help Andrew with his math skills. HINT: Its not 53 cents. Just saying. LOL. GL & HH.

Love your hunts! It’s great always seeing your screen numbers before you dig it. Maybe one week it will pay off with would you dig it?
Thank you and keep guessing and I am sure you will when eventually. Lol! I am tricky on those would you dig its

I think I dug like 60 or 70 pennies at Ventura after the storm.Got so tired headed home and stopped. GLHH
Those days are very frustrating, Good luck to you too! Thank You 👍

Why do there seem to be so many steel pennies on California beaches?
steel pennies? I have never found one on the beach.

do you ever get scared in the dark on the beach
Yes, but mainly because of the surf conditions. Larger waves are hard to see in the dark.
What is the UTube name for 😊Andrew & Irene, I would like to watch them also 👀
