I have been teaching for 24 years. As a director of dance it is very hard for me because I can no longer do high leaps. After being diagnosed with fibromyalgia a few years back some days are impossible but I will never stop dancing. How can i get my leaps at least 4 inches off the ground instead of 5 lol.
@@RPMDance Okay, thanks. But do you know what is it called what is you put your leg position in fifth position? (Sorry about my English, I am not English)
Dear Miss Ale - I can’t see anything revolutionary in your explanation about jumping higher! Gravity - yes, but you should explane how do deal with it! Your dancer always jumps from releve, that means from cramped muscles. Cramped muscles are moving slow - but we need nothing more than speed to jump high! The key word is maximum acceleration! Try first in 1.POS. fast soute, than slower with max. acceleration and you will see the highest possible jump of this dancer….. Greetings, Prof. Tappendorff, Vaganova School Teacher for 50 years…
I like the teacher. She is a very good teacher and humorous. And beautiful.
Me too.

I want to be a ballerina
Nice
What is that position she was standing in at first called?
When she was just standing and listening that would be a relaxed fourth position but she started the combination in fifth position.

I'm a little confused about your question. The dancer starts the combination in fifth position and the jump she is doing is called sissonne.
I do t know why but this looks like my dance teacher Shannon price. If I’m correct can I get a like or comment. Bc I’m very suspicious right now.
