@@electra8395 Oh you're in for a ride. The first volume starts off pretty slow (still good, just more worldbuilding), but everything after that just straight up slaps. Also, Hermes is a made-up language that's used in the novel, I hope you enjoy reading it.

The fights of LotM were batshit crazy, full of concepts and symbolisms, especially in the latter part of the story. This will take a lot of effort
Maybe we can't become an angel or demigod in the gameplay. Those batshit at those level maybe could only been scripted.

I'm planing to read LOTM after I'll finish the other novel that I'm reading currently, and I'm already so excited to get into it. I'm sure this is going to be one of my most beautiful book journeys. This game trailer only hypes me up. Seriously, the melody, vocals, theme and language (from what I've heard is made especially for this novel WHICH IS SO FREAKING IMPRESSIVE, it literally has such beautiful sounding that I (as a language lover) think I'll end up learning it, no joke). It's just so perfect, I can't even describe it with words. AND THERE'S ALSO NOT ONLY A GAME BUT A SECOND BOOK COMING OUT AS WELL, HOLLY CRAP. I can't, I'm just crying. This is so exciting.

@@T0NI_ It's never specifically said he can't sing at all, he simply chose to make use of the low-effort awful singing ability of Ocean Songster because he can't sing beautifully enough to activate the corresponding abilities. So he can probably sing averagely (you know, sea shanties and all) but prioritized immediate power instead of learning to sing for years.

These two clearly show that Alger cannot sing at all. And I'm pretty sure that it isn't "low-effort", he himself seems quite frustrated that his powers manifest in the way they do because of how bad his singing abilities are

I've read thousands of stories and Lord of the Mysteries was definitely one of the best. Up there with Release that Witch and the Legendary Moonlight Sculptor. In fact, LotM was so good that I read like 2 or 3 fanfics of the story lmao.

Is this how the place looks like? I didn't know there were broken fragment like things floating around the pillar.
I believe that it isn't a very accurate representation. There's no seat for The World (if I remember correctly, his chair should be at the other end of the table, since he is neither a man nor a woman) and pillars are supporting nothing (where's the ceiling?), but the atmosphere is exactly how I imagined it to be, so everything's cool
I think they are like tarot cards responding to the seats.
@@skanweers5318 I don’t actually believe there is any ceiling in the temple. It’s a relatively common thing to depict temples like the one described in the book as having pillars that don’t necessarily support a structure but are more for “effect”

I mean, any actual person with reasonable thinking, seeing pillars that support nothing, would inevitably ask this question: why are they there? If a seemingly powerful figure has such pillars that are obviously just for show, it would ruin their image in eyes of others
@@skanweers5318 I’ve seen some argue the symbolism of pillars supporting nothing is actually that they are supporting “the sky” or “heaven”, but no I agree if it’s not for symbolism then it’s quite vain
