If he brings Rodgers back it'll be the first sign that they hired the wrong HC. Kliff Kingsbury, Joe Brady, or even Todd Monken would have been my choices as HC because of what the Jets have in their hands and don't know it. Since they're going with a D coach, then you need to bring in someone from under them, or even a bright college offensive coach. Everyone is looking for a dual threat QB now. Just look at the QB's for the teams that make the playoffs every year recently. Lamar, Josh Allen, Jayden Daniels, Jalen Hurts, and even Mahomes is somewhat of a dual threat. That's what makes him extra special and gives him the edge. Well, the Jets have the epitome of that in Jordan Travis. You need to get him a coach who understands that RPO concept. It's why a top organization like the Ravens went out and boughtr in a college coach like Monken to lead Lamar. Just look at the difference in him the last 2 years. Kubiak is young enough to understand that, so he wouldn't be a bad choice. Josh McCown could be worth a look since he was somewhat of a dual threat QB in college, and has been around quite a few good offensive coaches in the NFL. But it's got to be someone from that school of thought. You can't bring in a traditional NFL OC. The Jets have the QB and RB's to run that offense as well as any team in the league.
In some aspects Getting a coach first can allow them to get a GM that can provide the players that a coach wants/ needs to be successful. Instead of the GM giving the coach players and then say "make it work." With the state of the Offensive line, we need a Quarterback that plays the way the successful once do. One that can get out and be mobile enough to get that first down when it's needed to continue a drive.
Until they change the field at MetLife Stadium, the Jets and Giants will continue to be riddled with injuries and thus have seasons where they completely flounder as franchises.
Tbh and this is nlthing against Glen, I dont trust will make them any better. There is a organizational rot that limits how good the team can be and I think the only way to overcome it is to get generational talent at the coaching and QB position which just isnt realistic. The other way to fix the issue is a complete overhaul of the front office and for ownership to either change or to just hand the keys to the coach and or GM and then go away to just rake in profit

With all due respect to Glen I’ll be surprised if he can get the Jets dialed in . NY jets isn’t just where players careers go to die
Isn’t?
There's worse teams out there but the haters love riding that ny jets D 😉
Can't use music from Nick's Tiers on this random segment!
Fair

We need a Good GM that will reshape this team and deal with the cap and work on things 2-4 years in the season
First thing, get rid of Rodgers.
