dear Gabby I use very, so, really a lot and now I see that I can use other words instead of then which make my speaking more beautiful. of course, I knew all of these words but I seldom used them. this lesson is particularly useful and you are exceptionally brilliant.
I try to learn better expressions to use in my spoken and written English. As you say, English learners don't prefer using intensifiers in their sentences. However, to be native-like, It's vital to use more interesting vocabulary in our conversations. To be frank, ıt's thanks to your video that I'm able to use more interesting intensifiers even in my small talk conversations. Your video was particularly excellent:) ı 'm certain your video helped me expand my English vocabulary. When English learners start to use more interesting vocabulary and better expressions in their daily conversations, their confidence begins to grow. I will be frank with you, these types of videos like yours build up my confidence:) Thank you so much for your considerable effort. Warm greetings from Turkey:)

I think that someone should not worry about speaking like a native English speaker because things should be natural and there is no wrong on keeping your mother tongue's identity. I do think it is worthy and commendable those who understand and can be understood in any language besides theirs. Greetings from Brazil!
why there has some dislike thumb down for this kind of very useful video English teaching like that huh? That's much appreciated to Gabby to help English learners.

Miss Gabby, I like the way you are fixing your hair. You are beautiful always. When I was younger I used to make a lot of changes for my hair, as I did a lot of changes when fixing the house moving furniture around and changing different things in the house, however now I don’t feel like doing any of that. So I admire you, and your English teachings. Thank you Miss Gabby for being there.
Hi Gabby, your way of communicating and expressing views is really amazing. We can really understand everything what you want to convey through your lessons. Thanks a lot for such a interesting lessons. I want to become fluent English speaker like you. What must I do.
In the Philippines, people will raise their contemptuous eyebrows if you express yourself this way: You will be called "OA", short for Over Acting. And a Filipino (man) will be called "gay" if he talks this way. Words of men are expected to be moderate not intensified. For instance, a Filipino is not expected to say, "I'm famish" as this is an expression of weakness and OA.
Please, don't say: "Don't say . . . " Say: "Say . . ." A positive approach is better than a negative one. After all, depending on the situation, YOU CAN SAY ANYTHING!
The title of this video should be more honest like “Avoid OVERUSING intensifiers like very, so, really....” This “don’t use” coming from an english teacher sounds bad.
I can't agree more with you. People shouldn't be gullible, instead they should know who they are--rectify their weaknesses and improve their strenghts based on what is universally moral. Many people nowadays are manipulative and emotionally insecure. Coping up with unnecessary changes they promote will load life with unnecessary burden. The desire to be unique to the point where one becomes a deviant is one of the causes of social imbalance. In fact, these type of people are too plenty now and they cause the rapid changes of cultures around the world. Coping up with these changes obviously will complicate one's character and ultimately life. Protect yourself; don't be gullible!
@@lucianomartins5663that is not the same thing. Best is the superlative form of "good", not an extreme adjective. Also, "the very best" is rather idiomatic, a hyperbole.

Yes we ignorant Americans really should have listened in English class.

WOW... What a brilliant class!
Can we use these intensifiers like in this way: very tiny, very delicious, very awful, very excellent and so on?
No
No because the aim is to stop using very, really..
Those are strong or extreme adjectives, so no.
