Now with her new book, Breaking Cover, she is able to share her covert life and the opportunities it presented to her from protecting US national security to assisting people persecuted for their religious beliefs. Join Assad for a discussion of her former double life and the dramatic experiences.

The interviewer wants to show off his knowledge more than asking his esteemed guest for her actual experience and knowledge.

Couldn't wait for her to have the floor. Very frustrating to have him interrupt and not being able to tell her story.

yeah I found that very annoying. He was not a very good interviewer, he seemed to want to tell the story himself. I wanted to hear her story not his version of her story.

You're being very unfair to him, when she doesn't have the right kind of penis to speak competently to an audience. She doesn't even have the thinking (left) testicle, let alone the right logic ball. How can she be expected to do things like coherently represent herself without the necessary penis!?
To be fairer, benefit of doubt, etc, maybe they spoke first, and she actually just isn't cut out for giving interviews, or presentations, or said she'd prefer this style. That IS possible I guess.
But I'm pining hard for when she's given room to tell her story herself, too. He's literally just said, "the story is just fantastic..." and I'm praying he's doing a really short feed in ONLY for her. Omg now he's taken over, "so the first thing he told you is..." Stfu man, let her talk...

She's such a great speaker, too, colourful, funny, just good to hear narrate, interesting n clear, just good at getting across a good telling of a good story for us the listener.
And like I really don't get the sense she needs prompting, reminding or telling to her, her own memoirs.
She's being so polite, too! I wish she'd not be having to keep politely letting him finish, again.

Just to be clear I'm only insinuating a sexist attitude for comedy, for all I actually know he might talk to everyone this way. Maybe he'll mature as an interviewing and find the balance to strike between his enthusiasm for the subject, and letting the subject enthuse for themselves.

As hard and as stressful of a job that she did for 10 years it didn't age her at all,
she's gorgeous! I think it would be very beneficial for her to travel around the country
and speak to young high school girls because its woman like her that can show girls that they can play with the boys too!!!

CIA COULD AND SHOULD provide a resume alibi. Just make a BS department that employers could call to check (if they ever actually do that) or hire me. I’ll take in that “department” lol but SERIOUSLY you’d think they. Would have worked that out by now
