Pangarap ko ring makapag aral ng culinary pero unfortunately may financial problem kami dahil napaka mahal ng mga culinary schools talaga. Kaya mag decide yung mga nag papa aral sakin na mag tapos na lang ng ibang kurso kahit hindi ko naman gusto which is nagawa ko naman. Pero iba parin talaga kapag passion mo eh. Pumasa din ako sa lpu manila nuong nag aapply pa lang ako makapag college pero mahal talaga haha. Kaya palagi kong tinatanong yung sarili ko kung tutuloy pa ba ako sa pangarap ko o isusuko kona. Pero ramdam ko sa sarili ko na bakit ko susukuan yung pangarap ko eh pangarap ko yon. Yun yung nararamdaman ko sa mga videos mo kaya galingan mo palagi. Maraming kagaya ko na nangangarap sa kung anong meron ka ngayon kaya goodluck sobra!! Galingan mo sa school. Soon magiging kagaya mo rin ako. More videos and knowledge pa sa culinary subjects para may baon na agad kami haha

I FEEL THE PAIN PO!!! HAHAHAHHAHAHA i remember when I was in my jhs, after hands-on po laging masakit paa ko plus pa yung pahirapan sumakay kaya mas lalong matagal nakatayo. You did well po!🥰
Hello! I am also a culinary student at Institute Of Culinary Education (ICE) at United States. I am a filipino like yourself finishing up my Pastry & Baking Arts and Hospitality and Culinary Management. I have already finished my Culinary Arts program and starting the last two in two weeks. I wanted to go to Culinary school in the Philippines and study abroad since I want to create fine dining restaurant in the future and really learn from the homeland. But due to COVID-19 it was really tough. But once I graduate I will study abroad in the Philippines with my schools networking and hopefully get a job down there and really learn the cuisine over there!
Sorry for typing in english haha. I can understand when someone talks or writes tagalog or bisaya to me and communicate but I can't write it :p

No offense, but don't you have more culinary opportunity in the US compared to the Philippines? I mean, comparing sa pay ha, i would assume mas malaki ang bayad sa states compared dito. Mas marami ring fine dining restaurants dyaan kesa dito, mas marami ring competent culinary schools sa states, ask ko lang why you'd want to go back here and study/work when mas maraming opportunities dyaan?
hello ate! may mga need po ba matutunan muna bago pumasok sa culinary school? kasi mga super basic lang po alam ko :((
Wala naman since ituturo naman ung basics hanggang advance. Pero kung gusto mag prep just practice ur knife skills and explore recipes

Hija, pwede pa rin kaya ako mag culinary kahit nasa 40's na ako. Passion ko rin kasi pagluluto at dream ko mag culinary before kaso struggle pa kami dati sa financial. Sana mabasa mo tong comment ko at makapag reply ka. Good luck sa career mo.
Sure ako po sa TESDA pwede naman po magaral or mga short courses po. Sa college naman po, depende siguro sa school. Di ko kasi alam kung may age limit samin
Yong sa AICA sa Pasig ko plan kasi nabasa ko 12 months lang every Sat lang ang class.

hello po, after ako mag graduate ng shs ngayon po balak sana ng auntie ko po papaaralin ako ng culinary but parang hindi pa po ako ready kasi i dont have the knowledge pa talaga at sobrang basic pa talaga alam ko, mas better po ba kumuha ng degree or okay lang dumeretsong mag aral ng culinary?
Hi depends po, sa degree po tuturuan lng din naman kayo ng college subjects. Okay rin naman dumiretso na sa luto - ung culinary na po para mas mabilis

Hello po Ate, mag cuculinary din po ako. Pero Pa-grade 10 pa lang ako, but i'm sure na mag che-chef ako. Ask lang po may Math po ba sa Culinary? Math is my weakness po kasi. And Left-Handed po ako, mahihirapan po ba mag turo ang prof sa'kin?
Hello, merong Culinary Math. Mostly problem solving, fractions, decimals, ration proportion/ conversions rin. No problem yung pagiging left handed

I have a question bawal po ba may quetics sa school of culinary? And nag dodorm po ba kau? Hm po ang dorm? Hope u answer po. Been planning to go back to school next yr. kaso I’m working. Hello, bawal po may nail polish. Dapat lagi short clean and no quetics. Di rin po ako nagdodorm pero nung nagcanvas ako dorms sa taft around 5k-13k (depende po sa lugar and ilan kashare sa room)

Hello, nakadepende sa subject enrolled kung may f2f classes. Meron naman ngayon f2f pero di ko sure kung aling batch ng students ung ongoing

Hello! I am also planning to take culinary arts for College and find your videos very helpful! But I'm curious abt one thing. Do they provide the ingredients that you guys will need? Or you'll need to spend money for your own products/ingredients? If so, how much money do you usually spend? (If it's okay to ask^-^)
Hii in my case, we pay an ingredients fee included in the tuition

Taft Ave. Manila po. Depende po sa units yung tuition at kung may laboratory. 70-90k (per sem for lecture subjs). 100-110k (4 subjects plang for laboratory)

Ate possible po ba na kukuha ako ng 2years course sa hospitality management, then pagka graduate ko sa 2yrs na yun go ako sa culinary for 1year? Diba may mga nag ooffer namang mga culinary school na 8months lang?
Yes merong mga less than 1 yr schools. Okay lang din naman kung ganyan pero ung course ko Hospitality Managment na with Major sa culinary. 4 yr course sya
