Hey man, just some advice! Since its a 3.5 and it seems you race it from time to time, do a drain and fill (NEVER FLUSH) with either NS-2 or a quality cvt fluid like Amsoil or castrol cvt fluid. I put Amsoil cvt fluid in my 08 coupe and its been running perfect for over a year!
If you have a shop replace the trans fluid and the trans starts to go out they will not pay for your transmission. You would have to show that you followed the Nissan transmission service interval on your transmission. Fyi the service interval for the nissan CVT is every 20 thousand miles. Good trans if you keep the fluid changed. I have a 2009 Altima Sedan with just over 300 wheel horse power and my CVT has been great. I installed an additional trans cooler to keep the trans oil temps in check.
I have a 3.5 6mt with 250000kms. It was very reliable for the 40000kms I had it but it’s starting to shit itself. Power steering pump blew. Steering column was lose. Control arms only last 25000kms. Cv axles r popping. The powersteering pump screams after the shop replaced it,Rad fans scream, battery is going out, headlight went out last night, had to replace torque mount because it clunked, misfire codes, brake squeal(pads r fine maybe they r twisted. All this happened in the last 20000 kms. It doesn’t burn oil and the trany and clutch have lots of life left
The altima coupe is garbage. The CVT are trash units. Never ever do a hard take off. They have problems with Power steering. Over heating CVTs that go out. The design under the hood is crap. Simple said it is much of a car.

I’ve been to a shop recently and they said the oil is good. The cooler is something I want todo though so the trans last longer, definitely 💯

Have you done any maintenance during ?
@@VQBABY replaced slave cylinder also. Engine and tranny oil, Coolant. Spark plugs and manifold gasket coming soon. What else is there to do
