According to Wikipedia, she was born and trained in operatic singing by her family. I admire Lani for her vocal prowess + crazy range, but more on her resilience and courage to keep on singing despite her unfortunate hearing loss from meningitis infection. (her right side is completely deaf) First year after her hearing loss, we could tell that it really affected her significantly during the life perfs. Nevertheless she didn't give up and in no time she adapted and overcame the issues. Thank you for reacting to miss Lani again. My personal favorite of hers, apart from Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin, are Saan Darating Ang Umaga and cover of Ikaw Lamang in the album The Nightingale Returns. Her live perf of Ikaw Lamang is fun and chaotic to watch 😂
