So glad I found your videos last year. I used this exact tutorial this past year and was able to sell 25 of these for $149 per planter. I had one customer come back after buying 2 of them and she bought 8 more as Christmas gifts. I can now make one of these in just about 3 hours so it only takes me a week to do10 of them. Thank you so much for making my hobby so profitable. My wife and I are now able to buy our first house.

As an amateur with woodworker, i typically feel overpowered with the entire arrangement ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxrYREG3-7f1Aqk9ams3ZESRNzGnfdUtyQ . Be that as it may, this arrangements drove me through with much clarity and effortlessness woodplans. Works i now work like a genius. That is great!

Ahh, Ana, the woman of my dreams! I did not know that my woodworking layout could be improved if I only did quilting beforehand. Nice approach & "must try" the way you do it.

    Couple comments:
I would stain the boards before I cut them to speed up that process, and touch up the cut ends afterward.
Also filling the bottom with styrofoam packing peanuts takes up a large amount of space with very little weight penalty!
Great video! And what an easy project!

This seems like a smart way to make these and I'm going to give it a try. I think a modification I'll try is to put a 5 degree miter on both ends of the strips. Seems that would make the top flatter once assembled and make it easier to then add a mitered edge around the top.

Nice one Ana. That wood would ( ? ) cost an arm and a leg here in the YUK. I use pallet wood, my pet gorilla disassembles them for me. I coat the wood with old engine oil which you can acrylic overpaint. If a varnish external finish I plane the facing sides. As the grandpa of five girls I really appreciate your inspiring creation all activity.subscribed.
