  • In nature, same as with people, there's more than meets the eye.
Life After Death is an educational augmented reality (AR) experience that shows the beauty of decay and its importance in the life cycle of a healthy forest. See both realities, the one of the living and of the dead, side by side, inside and out. Witness how life ends for a tree and gives way for a myriad of other living creatures to flourish from its remains.
Like miniature cities, plants, animals, and fungi coexist using the forests' decaying trees as their habitat. Life After Death highlights the value of diversity by making the invisible unmissable.
This is a project created for the UNESCO world natural heritage Dürrenstein natural preserve, home to one of the largest primeval forests in Central Europe located in Austria.
