- Hello everyone the talk has been circulating and yes it’s true I am now in Partnership with one of the most amazing companies in the world . I have found new inspiration behind the kit and I can’t wait for you to hear the difference in these High Definition cymbals. I love that they give him the freedom as a musician to do his thing instead of making him do the same thing over and over and end up getting bored with it. He's posted this so like 10 times now and every version of it is amazing.

Dude is super down to earth in real life. I've met him on several occasions through my wife but felt awkward speaking to him. The other night, he was in walmart and we actually talked for a minute.

Vic Algones dude he was with Zion cymbals for a little bit. Then went to zildjian, wasn’t with them for more than a few years then switched to Paiste. He’s switched drumheads and sticks many times too. His endorsements are always super shady to me with how many different companies he’s been with.

I honestly don't get this whole "brand war" bullshit. He switched the cymbal brand and people act like it's the end of the world. What's the big deal? He wasn't happy with his old set up anymore and found something that works for him, as simple as that. At the end of the day there are only so many ways you can really craft a cymbal differently. 95% of all people, including the big crowds won't hear any difference and don't care. And honestly even as a drumer with 10 years of experience it's hard to hear a night and day difference between this and the K's he used to play. The rest is just personal preference and what works for you. If your really are gonna be upset because he left your favourite brand then that is YOUR problem and YOURS alone. He doesn't give a rats ass, and rightfully so, grow the fuck up.

That said, I’m also a huge fan of Paiste too, I think Paiste & Zildjian make the best sounding cymbals & I cant fault either companies. Mihai Drums .. I wouldn’t think Zildjian wouldn’t be happy, just because Eric had his own drumsticks? Plenty of top drummers play different brand sticks but doesn’t affect their cymbal company relationship? Gotta be another reason why he left. Either way, I still like Zildjian & Paiste, all good!

Man, I don’t have a overly large kit at all, but I have some effects and the usual crash and ride, but there all different brands, I’m all about sound. Some brands speak to me more on certain things and types of cymbals.. I’ll never be endorsed, so it doesn’t matter much to me! 😆

Hi Eric. Man, I loive your playing and you look exactly like the bass player that I play jazz with; the sweetest guy you'll ever meet. Like you, I have a love of Paiste's and have lots, including a 20 inch 602 China, Whaa? Do they make those? You're certainly in good hands with Paiste for sure and they are absolutely LUCKY to have YOU representing them. I have been addicted to collecting cymbals and earlier today I took out the two Wuhans's in my collection because of the coronavirus which, of course, got started in Wuhan, China. I have actually gone "cold turkey" from buying cymbals but rationalized that some color-infused cymbals (in chroma-key green) will need to be auditioned, lol. I love the sticks! You're a freaking genius. And it makes your playing more comprehensible to me. The cleanliness of your playing combined with those sticks really helps me appreciate what you're doing (like at about 1:00 when you bring the left hand up to the hi-hat, you can really see how you grove that through awesome technique). I can really HEAR AND SEE what you're doing which will help a lot of people, like me, improve their playing. On the busy super-funky parts the sticks make a big difference. You're so crisp sounding and looking. Those are the Dopest DopeStickz sticks on the market and I'll be buying a pair. I'm setting up to make some "hack drummer" videos. I was admiring your sticks and the thought occurred to me that they will totally disappear in my upcoming videos. Literally disappear! If you look at the video "Drums and Malletkat by Scott Christie; test of Chroma Keyed Keys" you will immediately see what I mean (the keyboard is keyed at almost the same color as your sticks!). I'm still getting a pair because they're DopeStickz. I know that you're super-busy but if you have any feedback or suggestions as I start out with a commitment to make 20 videos (better quality than the two posted which are just quick demonstration of concept). I hope you're staying healthy now Eric and enjoying this time to woodshed.
I had no idea he played for suicidal tendencies. That's still so crazy to me. I know he wasn't the original member, but I grew up listening to them, and have always played drums. And just recently was introduced to this legend!

I think one of the most important aspects of Eric now playing with Ramazzotti is that even the music of Eros is not so complex they allow Moore to make what he does better, drumming. Good for both i think is a win to win relation

I watched and listened to this song, so many times, I know it by heart by now. It’s interesting that album version does not have the sax riff which I think what “makes” the song as the original lacks a “chorus” in a classic sense, so the sax became the “chorus” very nice melody too. And I think this song sounds like a compilation of 2 songs. Which also might be true, musicians sometimes do that. In any way thanks Eric Moore and Eros Ramazotti! Una Terra Promesa! Whoooo hooooo! So who actually gets the credit for pretty much re-writing this song?
Zildijans are just cymbals, but Paistes are instruments that makes a music
This is one of the best decisions you have ever made in your career any time I know a drummer uses PAISTE symbols I know he has a very tuned ear ! They’re not just the most expensive symbols on the market but they are genuine pieces of art world class movie studios production studios always have them the most recorded drummers in history use them

timmyvega23 DW loads of reasons. Actually so many reasons I could write a book about it but I won’t. I am a positive person and I don’t don’t care to speak negative on things or people. What I will say is if you ever have a chance to experience Paiste Cymbals consistency and how long they last and how amazing they sound . I played 1 set of cymbals the past 3 months on tour every night and my cymbals sounded amazing and I never broke a single cymbal. Also did clinics on the same set. I am inspired and in love with my new sound and I have a new found love for my instruments .

I'm guessing that one of the major reasons was that they didn't last as long as they should have. I dont think Eric is a power player, that is, smashing cymbals and what not, but they probably didn't hold on to their quality as long.
