You could use bubble wrap and reuse it a million times...we don't have plastic bags supplied in Australia so you have to take your own wherever you shop! Good for the planet also, love watching your thrifting from Oz. :)

I remember back in the '80s or '90s when stores sold animals made in an Asian country (can't remember which) that were made with real animal fur. I think they were made with rabbit fur. That's probably what that sleeping cat is. Cool finds!
Zeb, I started taking a couple of batteries with me so I can see if the battery clocks work. I will pay a little more if I don't have to replace the mechanism. Jami, I keep a bag of puppy pads to pack glassware.

Deseret Industries (DI) is a church charity and we go to 3-4 of those weekly. There are a few other church charity shops but they are pretty far away from us.
Marlene is pretty fantastic! She’s been a good friend for years. We both love vintage and antique and have been swapping junk for years. My big French mirror in my house I bought the frame from her before I painted it.

Jami after seeing this huge haul I retract my comment lol and a glitch..I am sorry ..my sister is stuck in Colorado because of the hacking situation..she was due home Saturday and they keep cancelling now she's hoping for Wednesday! She's a therapist so she's having to do session virtual. Crazy how computers run our lives!! Great haul!! Loved the video!
