Love those rat snakes. They are usually very chill when you handle them. I love them around my house, keeps the mice and chipmunks in check! Where in ohio was that?
In Farmington-Kinsman in Northern Trumbull County, it's really common to find these odd silver colored snakes that I've since come to realize were just Green Snakes with a rare coloration. Never seen a green one before, but the silver ones were extremely common- but, almost exclusively up hard on peoples' houses. Sad thing is, I spent weeks a year or so back thinking I was aware of a species unrecorded by science because I couldn't find them &, on top of that, since moving a couple townships south, no one seems to know what I'm talking about when I bring them up.
